Verbal JAB A monthly poetry reading in Las Vegas, NV at Tipsy Coffee House on the second Thursday of every mont The venue is new, and hoping some faces will be too.

A monthly poetry reading starting the second Thursday in October. As i'm aware, we aren't going to be overly censored or anything. It will be very much like WORD UP if you've ever attended that. Sign-ups will start around 6PM, Reading starts @6:30. Taking a 5-10 minute break around 7:15 and wrapping up by 8. Leaving people time to make it to Vegas on the Mic at Money Plays.

So. We will be revamping our format and location. This event's future is looking a lot brighter thanks to some serious brainstorming on the part of A-Brain and I. We look forward to seeing you all in the spring when we relaunch Verbal Jab 0.2.

Well, our first night is under our belt. Thank you to everyone to came out. I can count them all on one hand....but it was great that they could make it.
Next month we will have a PA and will be even bigger.

Also a thank you to the local, and non-locals who like this page. The A-Brain and I are just getting this event running and have high hopes for it. Any advice you can give us as promoters, organizers, or the like would be wonderfully appreciated.

Are you all ready for a poetry event on the WEST side of town for once? Then your in luck! Our readings will be on the second Thursday of each month, and will take place from about 6-8PM or so. Leaving everyone plenty of time to make it to Money Plays!
