The POOF Foundation The P**F Foundation " Protection Of Our Felines" After contacting our local animal control we were told they would euthanize the cats if trapped by them.

We started caring for unwanted cats in 1998 after trying to control the feral cat population in our neighborhood. So to avoid that we started trapping, spaying or neutering then releasing the feral cats that were non adoptable. To date we have trapped, spay or neutered and released over 100 cats and have reduced the feral cat population in our neighborhood by 80%. When at all possible we find home

s for the ones that are adoptable and we care for the ones that are not. We made the decision to start The P**F Foundation so we can help educate people on how they can do something to control the feral cat population in there immediate neighborhoods. The P**f Foundation will also assist in the physical process of trapping and when needed with the cost of spay/neutering. A new program we are getting off the ground is "homes for homeless pets". With so many people losing there homes and feeling hopeless with what to do with there pets there is a growing number of abandon animals. This program is designed to provide a temporary home for a families pet until they can reestablish a stable living situation. We are so sad today. We had to say good bye to our beloved Panther. He was born 15 years ago in our studio while it was under construction. He was the lone survivor and our kids wouldn't let us separate Mommy and baby. I'm so happy they were together for so long. Mommy kitty left us 4 years ago after coming down with breast cancer, Panther is now back with his Mommy.
