Our after-school social skills groups meet Mon–Fri, 3–6 PM in North Las Vegas. Game tournaments, crafts, D&D campaigns, cooking and community outings — with a therapy plan written by a BCBA for every kid.

📘📗Local autism advocate and artist Juan Muniz is hosting a special book reading of his brand new book, Arty the Autistic Artistic Turtle, on Sunday, October 25th at Recycled Propaganda.

Arty is a celebration of autistic children and the joy that comes from sharing the things they love with the people they care about.

After the reading, there will be an opportunity for Q&A and a special art workshop for kids and families.

The event is completely free! 🎨📘

ABCS has been open since 2013. Located in central Las Vegas their 13,000 Sq ft. facility provides services for clients ranging from 2-9 years old. The facility offers rock climbing walls, trampolines, swings, integrated classroom, gross motor areas, and coordinated circle times.

ABCS offers personalized ABA with comprehensive treatment models, individualized programming guided by on-going data collection. Services include one-to-one direct treatment, caregiver training, ongoing clinical supervision with a focus on building communication, social interaction, play and daily living routines.

Last year, Congress approved nearly $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid, the primary funder of home and community-based services for people with developmental disabilities. That has already prompted some states to consider slashing funds for such services. The survey found that the threat of these state-level changes is influencing decisions by providers, with 56% indicating that they opted not to expand services this year as a result.

Disability service providers across the nation are turning away new referrals and scaling back programs. And, with massive funding cuts on the horizon, they see no relief in sight.
