At the Eagle Scout Dinner this past month, the Las Vegas Area Council was honored to celebrate our 2025 recipients. The National Eagle Scout Association’s Outstanding Eagle Scout Award honors Eagle Scouts who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, and professional achievement in their communities. We are proud to recognize three individuals whose lives reflect the very best of Scouting.
Rob Reed
An Eagle Scout since 1982, Rob has dedicated decades to mentoring youth and strengthening Scouting across Southern Nevada. From District Commissioner to Wood Badge Course Director, his influence is far-reaching. He also served over 18 years with the North Las Vegas Police Department, continuing his commitment to community and service.
Kyle Wilson
A highly respected athletic trainer with more than 40 years of experience primarily at UNLV, Kyle has impacted hundreds of student-athletes while mentoring future professionals. His honors include national recognition and Hall of Fame induction, reflecting a career rooted in leadership and service.
Albert T. Twesme
A Navy Captain, Eagle Scout, and respected oral surgeon, Al devoted his life to serving others through his profession, his faith, and his community. In a deeply meaningful moment, his National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award was approved the night before his passing, making this recognition a powerful and lasting tribute to a lifetime of leadership.
