As AHTA transitions to the new Horticultural Therapist–Board Certified (HT-BC) credential, now is the time to understand what these changes mean for you.

🌿 Current HTRs and HTMs will retain their credentials
🌿 The THP designation remains unchanged
🌿 After July 1, 2026, all new professional credential applications will follow the HT-BC pathway
🌿 HT-BC certification includes a 5-year renewal cycle with continuing education requirements
