Black Seas of Infinity Paranormal Investigator John Christopher Thrasher's father's (Sam Thrasher) accounts of experiences he's had with the paranormal.
"When I was in the Navy I was in the South Pacific near Borneo and it was very hot down there. It also was hot in our sleeping compartment on the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea. The sailors in there were good at pranks as sailors are. In the middle of the night I saw a white hand come up from the bottom of the bunk come up to my face and thought it was a prank and shouted out to knock it off. Then I realized it was no prank so I assumed it was a nightmare. When I went back to sleep it happened again and it was a man's right hand with a " Z" scar on the right thumb and when I rose up the hand slowly backed away and disappeared off the end of the bunk. Again I assumed it to be a nightmarish dream. Our fighter squadron was offloaded to NAS Atsugi, Japan. They had just built a new Enlisted Men's Club on the base and I went in and sat down at the bar. Someone came in and sat down on my left and I turned to see who it was as he was turning to his left to leave. I never saw his face but did see his right hand and it had a "Z" scar on his right thumb. By this time he was running for the door and so was I right his heels. I chased him halfway across the base to the flight line but lost him in the darkness. The next day I relayed this info to the base psychiatrist and he only one explanation that I dreamed it all, but it was no dream because I asked the guys in my barracks to recall that I told them I was going to check out the new club on base and they all verified that I did tell them that. ????"

THE BACKYARD NIGHT STROLLER

"There are many paranormal experiences I have been witness too throughout my life but just a few really stand out as my personal favorites. One OMG WTF is that experience happened when I was about 14 years old. I was spending the night at a friend’s house. I was in the T.V. room kicking back while my friend was in the kitchen cooking something. It was around 1:30 in the morning and for whatever reasons I got up off the couch and walked over to the backyard glass sliding doors. No clue as to why I got up to go look outside the windows as if something subconsciously told me to go look outside into his backyard. It looked like it was straight out of The Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. So as I cupped my eyes with my hands to look outside through the glass I noticed a figure and as my eyes started to adjust to the dark I was immediately in shock as I was witnessing a full bodied apparition of a man slowly walking behind the pool area. This figure looked like he was straight out of the mid 1800’s and was wearing a long black winter type coat and round brimmed top hat completed his see through profile. The whole experience probably lasted 3 to 4 seconds, which felt like an eternity, but in that amount of time I never felt the terror in my gut like this before. I stumbled backwards and almost fell down onto the ground. I took off like a bat out of hell towards the kitchen where my friend was hanging. I told my friend in a pretty hysterical way what I thought I was witness too. We then proceeded to go outside into the backyard and there was just nothing there. Mind you I slept that night with one eye open."

IS THAT CLOCK FLYING?

"Another story that comes to mind about the paranormal was an incident that happened when I was about 6 years old with a Mickey Mouse Clock that I had in my room. The story goes like this. I was sitting on my bed watching TV….. and my mother came in to ask me what I wanted for dinner and right when she finished her sentence the Mickey Mouse Clock which was at the top of an 8 foot bookcase literally took off like a plane and circled around my mother’s body and then flew around me as it slowly crash landed into the carpet. We both looked at each other and kind of laughed it off, albeit, nervously. We both decided that it was time to leave the room. . I remember this story so vividly that it seemed like it was yesterday."

An experience from fellow Black Seas of Infinity Paranormal Investigator Spencer Fisher - "My wife and I both had seen a black mist float through the house from different rooms. I had seen it first out of the corner of my eye making drifting from the dining room next to me into the room she was in making the hair stand up on my arms and sending a cold chill throughout my body. About 10 seconds later she walked out of the next room with a very scared look on her face describing seeing the exact same thing come through the room she was in not knowing I had just seen the same apparition."
