We currently have a Peer Support Team of 31 volunteer team members made up of former and current officers who have themselves been injured. We also have a Spousal Peer Support Team as we believe the family unit is just as important! We offer peer support, advocate in areas of Worker's Comp, EEOC, assist with PSOB paperwork, legislation, facilitate therapists when necessary and assist with locating

resources for injured officers nationwide. We respond by phone, email, and boots on the ground to agencies when in need. We also offer teach and train. We believe healing comes not just from the physical scars, but focusing on those mental and emotional scars that many cannot see. Our motto is Never Forgotten, Never Alone. By reaching out to us, we want to be sure you do not feel alone in the process as many of us have! You are a part of our family!

Today, I had the privilege of visiting Deputy Yates Rodney at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta.

The progress he has made since suffering devastating injuries in the line of duty is remarkable. While the road ahead remains challenging, his determination, resilience, and fighting spirit are stronger than ever.

I truly believe the prayers, encouragement, and support coming from across this nation have helped lift him up during his recovery. Yates knows he is not alone, and that means more than words can express.

Please continue to keep Deputy Rodney and his family in your prayers. The progress is real, and so is the hope.

As we get Deputy Yates Rodney settled into a rehabilitation center and begin the next chapter of his recovery, I want him, his family, and his brothers and sisters in law enforcement to know one thing:

You are not alone.

The road ahead will be challenging, but Deputy Rodney has already demonstrated extraordinary courage, strength, and determination. At The Wounded Blue, we are committed to standing beside him every step of the way providing support, resources, and hope when it is needed most.
