🐾 SUNDAY AFTERNOON VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐾

A Path 4 Paws could really use some extra helping hands on Sunday afternoons—especially when it’s time to close the rescue for the day.

Our dogs still need restroom breaks and plenty of care while canopies are taken down, supplies are packed, and pups are safely loaded into the van. There is a lot to accomplish at the end of an adoption day, and even a few hours of your time can make an incredible difference. 🐶💜

If you’re available on Sundays from noon–4pm, we would be so grateful for your help!

Please follow the information on our volunteer page to get started:
https://apath4paws.org/volunteer/

🐾 Our adoption and donation center is open every Saturday & Sunday from 10am–4pm.

📍 232 N. Jones #170
Las Vegas, NV

Check out our available pups or make a donation on our website:
apath4paws.org

📧 [email protected]

Bring your entire family—dogs included—for a meet and greet!

🏠 Renters must bring their lease agreement, and adopters must be 21 or older.

Please share this post and help us find some wonderful Sunday volunteers! 💜

Hi, my name is Chanel, and I’m a 19-month-old Shepherd mix, spayed female looking for my forever home!

I’m a very sweet, loving girl with lots of love and energy to give. I’m looking for an active family who can give me the exercise and attention I need to be my happiest self. A home with a big, secure yard would be wonderful, or someone who enjoys going for walks, hikes, and adventures with their dog.

My current owner loves me very much, but she isn’t able to give me the walks and exercise I need. She wants what’s best for me and wants me to have a family who can help me live my happiest life.

In return, I promise to give you lots of love, loyalty, kisses, and companionship! ❤️

Could you be the forever family Chanel is looking for? 🐶🏡

You can meet Chanel Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4 at apath4paws at 232 N Jones (next to CAL Ranch on the right, off 95 and Jones, Mc Donald’s Parking lot).

Please come meet me!!!

The Las Vegas heat is no joke! ☀️ 🥵⁣
⁣
As extreme heat continues to affect the valley, we can’t emphasize enough how important it is to keep your pets safe and cool. Make sure they have plenty of fresh, clean water available, keep them indoors and out of the heat, and never leave them in a hot car. When heading outside, avoid hot pavement, which can burn sensitive paw pads. 🌡️ 🔥 🐾 ⁣
⁣
The extreme heat of Las Vegas can be deadly for pets. Know the signs of heat distress and stroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, confusion, or collapse.⁣
⁣
When temperatures rise, keep your furry family members cool, comfortable, and safe. ⁣
⁣
Stay safe, Southern Nevada! 🙏⁣

If your hand or bare foot can’t handle touching the hot ground, neither can the paws.

Please keep your pets safe!

* Animal shelters often report a 30–60% increase in lost pets between July 4–6.
* More pets go missing on July 4 than any other day in the U.S.
* One national estimate says roughly 1 in 5 lost pets goes missing after being startled by loud noises, especially fireworks.

Just a reminder for the hot summer days!!

Sad, but true! A dog/pet needs to be a life time commitment. Or else don’t get one.

Wishing you a wonderful Mother’s Day to all the moms of fur babies.
