Somewhere along the way it hit me. The experience of being a mother doesn’t have to be limited to your own child. The experience of being a mother can be felt through nurturing others, by compassion, holding space, and so much more.

I am forever thankful for my son, and our lifetime of adventures together. I am so blessed, I couldn’t ask for a better way to spend my life 🥹

Being a mother has ignited a fire inside me. That fire wanted to spread to help as many children as possible and as many families as possible. Being a mother is the very core of the Smile Spaces mission.

This mother’s day we honor all the mothers of the world, the ones trying, the ones who have lost, the ones who have passed, the ones who show up everyday and do their best, and all of the mothers in between.

Today we honor the mothers with the strength to ask for help and we honor each and every mother in the Smile Spaces family. 🩷

We are SO blessed to have the opportunity to create another Smile Spaces Bedroom ☺️ This is our first room where the child receiving the room has offered to take the design lead position, and we are THRILLED. He has amazing visions, and a heart of gold!
