6. Old Business:
School of Excellence Part 2 has been filed with the National PTA. The action plan has been completed. Need to do the final survey. Send link to Krystina Levine.
Volunteer appreciation is April 27, 2026. Ice cream social to the invitees. Erik is coordinating.
Staff appreciation will be an ice cream truck for staff to go to during their lunch time. Krystina and Erik are coordinating. May 6, 2026.
Year Book Update- We have added pages for dedication ads. We have orders for 121 yearbooks. Need a major push to get people to buy the yearbook by the end of April. Mrs. Wang will put up flyers on the front door. People will hand out flyers on the black top. Mrs. Hughes doing flyers also.
SSM Yearbook 25-26
We need someone to help with coordinating the water distribution during Field Day. We should start planning this now. Erik Ortega will take the lead in this. Last day of school. May 22nd. Sponsored.
Blanca Barajas has organized the 5th grade autograph book that needs to be prepared. She has the booklets printed. Making the binding decision next. Cardstock for front and back. Logo incorporated. Blanca created a new front page. We decided to use the three hole punch instead of spiral binding. Purchased the covers already. Distribution last week of school.
