Maury Astley CAE, Executive Director of NSAE, recently attended the ASAE meeting in Salt Lake. One of his favorite sessions was “Toot Your Own Horn, But Don’t Blow It”. Presented by Sandra Giarde, CAE and Benjamin Martin CAE, it was a workshop designed to help you tout your own accomplishments without excessively bragging. Critical to presenting to your Board during evaluation and compensation discussions. If you are looking for a job or a promotion within your organization or just presenting yourself in the best way publicly, it is often hard for us to brag on ourselves. Maury will guide us through the process of this critical self-improvement exercise. Bring your own ideas to contribute to the discussion.
