We’re bringing more fresh, nutritious food directly into our community! 🥬🍅💗

Join us on Tuesday, August 25 as we kick off the expansion of our Food is Medicine Farmers Market at Lorenzi Park!

Beginning at 8:30 AM, community members are invited to shop for fresh, nutritious produce at no cost. Come early, bring a bag, and take home fresh food for you and your family. Produce will be available while supplies last.

This kickoff marks the beginning of our new partnership with Cleveland Clinic Nevada & Keep Memory Alive, whose support is helping The Just One Project expand access to fresh, nutritious food throughout our community.

A special thank you to Councilwoman Shondra Summers-Armstrong for her support in helping make this event possible.

🚌🩷 Yesterday, we came together with community members, partners, and supporters to celebrate something worth recognizing: the continued impact of our Groceries on the Go program.

While we called it a relaunch, the heart of this celebration was something even more meaningful. Thanks to the partnership of the NV Energy foundation and Southwest Gas Corporation foundation, our Groceries on the Go program never missed a beat. Their support helped ensure families across Southern Nevada could continue accessing fresh, affordable, and nutritious groceries without interruption.

🥕🍎 For many communities, getting to a full-service grocery store isn’t always easy. Groceries on the Go helps bridge that gap by bringing healthy food closer to home and making access more convenient for the neighbors we serve.

🤝 A special thank you to Councilwoman Shondra Summers-Armstrong, William McCurdy II, and the College of Southern Nevada Westside Education Training Center for helping us celebrate this milestone and continuing to champion resources that strengthen our community.

Together, we’re building a healthier Southern Nevada, one stop at a time. 💗

Last week’s Work Readiness event at Dolores Huerta Resource Center was all about connection and opportunity. We brought together providers from across the community to share resources that support employment goals, from job prep to interview tips and beyond.

And because getting ready for opportunity is about more than a resume, we gave away work shirts, hygiene kits, and free haircuts too. Looking good and feeling prepared go hand in hand.

Access to opportunity starts with moments like this one.

We’re on the first day of our organization’s summer break, but our team wanted to share some joy with you this morning. 🩷
