Las Vegas ICO We inspire the next generation to appreciate & protect the great outdoors.

Las Vegas Inspiring Connections Outdoors is a Sierra Club outreach program whose mission is to get kids out in nature who have little to no access to our beautiful public lands. Inspiring Connections Outdoors volunteers provide leadership and furnish the equipment needed to conduct safe wilderness experiences. Outings are free of charge to the participants and may include day hikes, boating, and s

kiing, as well as service trips. Our volunteer leaders work in diverse communities with local agencies, such as schools, church and neighborhood youth groups, rehabilitation centers and outdoor clubs, to provide wilderness experiences and environmental education for people who otherwise might not have them.

Check out this great article that appeared in the Las Vegas Weekly this past week!! It features our Chair, Cynthia Regidor, and includes some great information on the principles of Leave No Trace! We teach the Leave No Trace principles on every one of our Las Vegas ICO Outings!

The Seven Principles are fundamental for Las Vegas Inspiring Connections Outdoors, a local chapter of the Sierra Club’s national outreach program that facilitates outdoor experiences for underserved youth.
