Your Dream is Our Dream is a non-profit 501c3 that helps low to medium income families to help achieve the dreams of their kids becoming an athlete, an artist, a dancer etc. Your Dream is Our Dream will start a non-profit 501c3 that will help low-medium income kids achieve their dreams of becoming an athlete, an artist, a dancer etc., without the burden of the family having to bare all the costs.
A lot of children would love to take gymnastic classes, or play baseball, football, basketball, become a dancer, but the high cost of the classes, equipment, costumes, competitions, can easily make a young person discouraged to even asking their parents for the opportunity to do extracurricular activities. Your Dream is Our dream will base scholarship decisions on:
1- Income
2- Student GPA (student must always have a 2.0 or higher to qualify)
3- Volunteer Agreement
4- Consistency in Student Involvement
Once a student has been accepted to be awarded a scholarship, the parent and/or child will sign a volunteer agreement that will state they agree to participate with some sort of Non-Profit by volunteering their time to 1 or more organizations. We do not want to cause an extra burden on families, so the hours will not be overly extravagant; on average it will more than likely be 2-4 hours of volunteer time a month split up in any way between as little or as many non-profit organizations they want to help. Your Dream is Our Dream can help children reach their highest potential! Whether it is earning a college scholarship, The Olympics, NHL, NFL, NBA, Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, or Nashville Symphony the choice is truly endless!
