Our latest Healing with Art Workshop was filled with color, creativity, and so many unique interpretations! This month, we explored Picasso-inspired art, using shapes, colors, and patterns to create pieces that reflected our own individual vision.

One of our favorite things about these workshops is seeing how differently everyone expresses themselves. There’s no “right” or “wrong” way to create, just an opportunity to slow down, be present, connect with others, and let creativity lead the way. 🖌️✨

A special thank you to our featured artist Mario Lorne for sharing his creativity and guiding us through this month’s experience, and to Herbally Grounded for providing a space for us to come together.

Join us this Friday for our Healing with Art Workshop! 🖌️🎨

This month, we’ll be creating a colorful Picasso-inspired Cubist painting on canvas, facilitated by featured artist Mario Lorne. Mario’s work is inspired by culture, color, movement, and mixed media, using art as a way to educate, inspire, and connect with the community.

Our Survivor Squad enjoyed the show Awakening at Wynn Las Vegas followed by dinner together. These shared experiences foster friendship, belonging, and remind us that healing doesn’t have to happen alone while giving survivors something to look forward to every month.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous donors for making these outings possible. Your support creates opportunities for survivors to connect, find encouragement, and continue healing together. 💜

Be immersed in an epic journey of music-related, dance and illusions with hero IO fighting light and darkness to save the world! A few more moments from an unforgettable evening. 💜🦋

Our 10-Year Anniversary Celebration wasn’t just about looking back, it was about honoring every survivor, volunteer, donor, sponsor, and supporter who has been part of this journey. Because of you, My Scars Are Beautiful has become more than an organization. It’s become a community.

✨Healing with Art ✨

Last Friday, our Healing with Art Workshop gave survivors an opportunity to slow down, create, and simply be present. Through the beauty of drip painting, each canvas became a reminder that healing doesn’t have to be perfect, it can be colorful, unexpected, and uniquely our own.

It was incredible to watch everyone embrace the process, encourage one another, and leave with artwork that reflected their creativity and resilience.

A very special thank you to our Art Therapist Lisa Korslen for generously sharing your time, talent, and compassionate guidance.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our donors and supporters. Because of your generosity, we’re able to continue offering these workshops and creating safe spaces where healing, connection, and hope can flourish.

And to everyone who joined us, thank you for trusting the process, trying something new, and embracing that healing is often found in the moments we create together. 💜🎨

As we reflect on our 10-Year Celebration, our hearts are beyond filled with so much gratitude!!! 💜

To our survivors thank you for trusting us to be part of your healing journey. You inspire everything we do, and it has been an incredible honor to walk alongside you over the past 10 years. Your courage, resilience, and hope continue to remind us why this mission matters.
