God First Fathers Ensuring the passing on of godly character to the next generation by restoring it in this one; one father at a time, one family at a time.

We are a group of men seeking God first. We study God's word, the Holy Bible, to seek after the good and perfect ways of Jesus Christ. We ask in prayer for the Holy Spirit's help to live according to God's Word and the example set by His Son, Jesus. We seek to father our children the way God Father's us. "Amber Nelon Kistler auditioned for American Idol when Jennifer Lopez was a judge. The panel was impressed, particularly J-Lo. After the audition, Jennifer Lopez took Amber aside and said, "Listen, I know you mentioned singing Gospel music, but I have to ask - would you consider being more revealing?" Amber responded firmly, "No, I wouldn't feel comfortable with that." Lopez pressed on, "Do you understand what I'm asking? If you show more, I can make you a superstar." Amber replied, "Thank you, but I am a child of God, and I wouldn't want to disappoint Him." Lopez retorted, "Well then, leave."

As Amber started to walk away, Lopez called her back. Once more, Lopez questioned Amber, "Do you realize what you're doing? I can put your name in lights, make you famous, and incredibly wealthy." Amber calmly replied, "I am already known by the One who matters most. I'm already famous in His eyes, and that's all that matters." Lopez instructed her to leave again.

Amber graciously thanked them as she walked out. Yet, Lopez called her back once more. She asked Amber, "I want you to succeed. You have what it takes. Will you be more revealing?" Amber stood her ground and replied, "No, I cannot compromise my values and let the Lord down." Lopez snapped, "Get out of my sight."

Amber is now in the presence of Jesus the one she loved, sang about, and faithfully served!!
