Parktober Homeless Services Pop-Up Event

Nevada Homeless Alliance is proud to join the City of North Las Vegas and community partners for the Parktober Homeless Services Pop-Up Event.

Wednesday, October 14
10 AM – 2 PM
Tonopah Park
204 E. Tonopah Ave.
North Las Vegas, NV 89030

Community members experiencing homelessness or in need of support can connect with a wide range of resources, including ID assistance, crisis intervention, youth and senior services, clothing, transportation, behavioral health, medical services, health insurance, pet resources and more.
Please share with someone who may benefit from these services.

Thank you to the Las Vegas Chapter of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) for choosing Nevada Homeless Alliance as the nonprofit for your COMMUNITY DAY!! We are grateful for your volunteer service!!

On Saturday 10/3, this group created over 100 hygiene kits for our homeless neighbors and donated additional items!

We are excited to introduce the FIRST ISSUE of Vegas Street Talk: Lifting Every Voice — a new quarterly street newspaper created to make space for the voices, experiences, creativity, and perspectives of people experiencing homelessness in Las Vegas.

Issue 1 — Fall 2026: “Nobody With Something to Say” is officially here!

Vegas Street Talk is spearheaded by the Southern Nevada Lived X Team and Nevada Homeless Alliance and centers the voices of people too often talked about instead of heard directly.
Inside our first issue, you’ll find personal stories, lived-experience perspectives, community observations, artwork, commentary, and more — written and contributed by people with something to say.

And this is just the beginning. 📰
Have something you want to contribute? We want to hear from you. Rants, raves, poetry, artwork, photos, stories, interviews, opinions, letters, and other submissions are welcome for future issues.
