Summer break is finally here! Our kids enjoyed a fun, music-filled first week during our Instrument Petting Zoo courtesy of our friends at the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Last week our kids brought out their inner Mozart as they learned the finer points of violin, cello, and other classical musical instruments. Thanks for the summer fun musical harmony!

The C4K Neuro-Oncology team had the pleasure of visiting the Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) here in Las Vegas, connecting with Director Julie Peterson, Clinical Manager Sherry Perucho, and Marketing & Clinical Liaison Manager Sydney Carnevale

What was great about our visit was how closely NCEP’s care model aligns with C4K's. They’ve built everything around the family: coordinating physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy on the same day, supporting insurance navigation, transportation, appointment scheduling, and comprehensive family education. It's the kind of family-centered approach that makes a world of difference for our complex pediatric patients.

This visit wasn’t about discovering a new resource—it was about deepening trust and direct relationships. When our teams pick up the phone, they now know exactly who they’re calling and the incredible support available behind that call. We're grateful for partners like NCEP who help families navigate incredibly difficult journeys with compassion and expertise. Here’s to continued collaboration and better outcomes for our kids! 🙏💕
