Saturday, June 20, 2026, marked another successful outreach event where 6 Elks members and 2 volunteers handed out $5 gift cards to the Patriot Store, accompanied by blankets, reading materials, and meaningful interactions with our Veterans at the VA Hospital in NLV.

We are grateful for the generous donations of beautiful quilts and crocheted blankets from Lin Elfing, Carol Brown, and Donna Carter for our VA Hospital visits. Furthermore, they have made small personal bags for patients to carry their belongings upon release.

Our nation's flag pays tribute to those who have defended it, serving as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our founding figures and national heroes. Our Flag Day celebration, jointly hosted by Lodge #1468 and Lodge #2353, showcased a stunning display of pride and patriotism.

Tuesday, June 9, 2026, marked a noteworthy collaboration between the Elks and the CCSD Autism Children summer camp program. Fifteen pizzas and bowling activities were donated and arranged for a group of 26 children, along with 17 adults and 5 Elks representatives. The event was exceptionally successful. Thanks are in order for the Elks' thoughtfulness and charitable nature.

VA Hospital Visit on June 2, 2026: A total of 9 Patriot Store Gift Cards valued at $5 each were issued, along with 7 pairs of Bombas Socks handed out. Five Elks attended the event, which was deemed highly successful. It was another excellent day for all attendees.

The CCSD summer school bowling event took place on June 1, 2026, at Sunset Station Bowling Alley with 18 adults and 35 participants, including 4 Elks. The Elks generously provided pizza and covered the bowling costs. The event ran for 2 hours, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
