Hello Fellow Lions:

Our regular meeting on June 16, 2026 will begin serving lunch at 11:30am until the meeting which begins at 12:15pm.
We will meet in the Vita Bella on the 2nd floor accross of the elevators at the Ahern Hotel
300 W. Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada. Free Parking!

Come early and enjoy a Chef special luncheon, and visit with our members and guests, .

The meeting will be called to order at 12:15pm

Our Guest Speaker will be: Louise Davenport from Quilts of Valor Foundation

Installation Dinner will be held June 23, 2026 remember to sign up.

We are still in need of Guest Speakers... Please contact Jeneen to help fill the opening.

The Charlie Tarr Foundation is a charitable foundation associated with the Las Vegas Host Lions Club. It was established in honor of Charlie (Charles) Tarr, a longtime Lion who was well known in Southern Nevada Lions circles for his dedication to community service and the Lions motto, “We Serve.”

Today we continued that message. The Charlie Tarr Foundation in association with the Las Vegas Host Lions Club gave out $12,000 today to 12 recipients. Each recipient must have completed an application, wrote an essay and had a sponsor.. the topic of the essay was about overcoming some form adversity while growing up. The money is set to be used towards further education. Whether these 12 individuals go on a college or university or just a train school. We hope this money helps these 12 individuals to succeed in the future.

Our Special Guest will be: DG Paul Silva who will discuss LEF and presentations

Our Club's Installation Dinner will be held on June 23, 2026 at the Ahern Hotel. Cost of the dinner will be $60.00 per person.
The buffet includes chicken, salmon, and sirloin with 2 salads, artesian bread, veggies and desserts.

The Bar will be available at 6pm and the pricing will be "happy hour" pricing.

A sign up sheet will be distributed at the meeting.
