Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants NAPA is dedicated to the advancement of its members and the PA profession through academy support, education, public awareness and legislative action.

GOALS
To enhance the profession by developing collegial relations with other healthcare professionals
To promote the value of the physician assistant profession through public awareness
To protect the physician assistant through legislative action and reform when necessary
To encourage collaboration with supervising physicians and other professional colleagues to provide medical care in a varie

ty of practice settings
To encourage networking and the sharing of knowledge and opinion among the Nevada PAs

The Nevada Academy of PAs (NAPA) is now accepting applications for the 2026 NAPA Student Scholarship, awarding one $500 scholarship to Touro University Nevada and two $500 scholarships to the University of Nevada, Reno. This annual recognition highlights graduating PA students who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, service to the PA profession, and commitment to lifelong learning.

Eligibility:
• NAPA student member in good standing
• Commitment to NAPA’s mission and PA professional development
• Demonstrated leadership and academic excellence

Required Materials:
• CV (Word format) with headshot
• Narrative (up to 1,000 words) detailing leadership, service, and financial need
• Program Director letter confirming academic/professional standing
