I know you are all anxious while you anticipate the announcement of who will receive the scholarship. Please be patient The results from all the committees have to be in and tabulated before the results can be announced.

Question: Would you be willing to explain the Google document project to me more. I don't quite understand what we are supposed to be doing.

Answer: On the day of the interview you will do a group project. The project includes working on a Google Document. The current shared document is a practice document. Early next week I will send you an invitation to work on a document with your Saturday group. It is important for you to be comfortable with the technology so you concentrate on the project Saturday.

Question: When can I get a hold of you on Skype to test the technology component?

Answer: Send me a contact request. I will accept it. Then when you see me online, you can call me. We can then do a camera and sound check. We don't to have a technical glitch on the day of the interview. That would be unfair to you.

If I don't answer the Skype call, it is because I'm away from the computer. You can text me and I can call you or you can try later.

Over the Christmas holidays, Anna and I went to Antarctica. Here is a photo of us on South Georgia (Saint Andrew's Bay). I'm pretty sure there are more penguins behind us then there were people watching the Super Bowl.

When will the finalists be announced?
The finalists will announced after all the committees have met and the results tabulated. My guess is sometime in Mid-March. Let me know if your prefer a call or email.

Change of plans
We know that many of you make multiple plans and new opportunities come along. We recognize it is often hard to choose from the many options and opportunities you might have. In the case of the CB scholarship, we ask that you tell us immediately in the event you decide to pursue a different opportunity. Tell us--even if you have not been notified that you have won the scholarship. There is considerable work that has to be done after the committee concludes its part but before you are selected.

Tell us about yourself
Please take a few minutes to write a short introduction about yourself to introduce yourself to the other candidates. Include photos if you can. This way the other members of your group will have an idea of what you look like and know a bit about you. I will post an example about myself.
