At least 15 children were killed when a fire swept through a Haitian orphanage run by the Pennsylvania-based The Church of Bible Understanding. It was founded in Allentown Pennsylvania, in 1971 by Stewart Traill.
The fire was started by candles that were being used because the power generator was not functioning. It took over 90 minutes for firefighters to arrive. Jean-Francois Robenty, a civil protection official stated "They could have been saved,"′ ″We didn't have the equipment to save their lives.″

Since 2013, The Associated Press has reported on a long-standing series of problems at the two children's homes run by the Church of Bible Understanding. The group has long been accused of being a cult. Stewart Traill has became a millionaire from it.
In 2017, The nonprofit reported revenue of $6.6 million and expenses of $2.2 million for the year.

Stewart Trail and Church of Bible Understanding should be collectively shunned from American society.

Haiti remains the western hemisphere’s poorest country (World Bank) and most corrupt (Transparency International);
Despite billions of dollars in internationally donated aid dispensed through 10,500 NGO’s on an island of 10 million, Haitian poverty & social misery rates have actually increased!

Beachhead International, a not-for-profit, worked with global cross-industry partners to develop low cost, wide-spectrum chlorine dioxide solutions for crises environments. Simply add pre-measured, color-coded Tablets & Sachets to universal sized containers to generate desired usages.

In May 2013 Beachhead introduced its chlorine dioxide solutions for sale to global not-for-profit and international aid organizations and local: governments, police, hospital, faith & civic groups. We will beat any local or NGO supplied BLEACH pricing.
Beachhead adds a small handling fee to its ClO2 solutions which is used to support its minimal and volunteer operations.

Our goal is to get the planets most effective & versatile and now least expensive chemical disinfectant into the lives and environment of as many of the planets most vulnerable kids as possible, without enriching the international poverty bureaucracy.

We’re a little different than most charity and international aid organizations:

We demand accountability from everyone involved, including aid recipients. When we have ex*****on ‘breakdowns’ we acknowledge it and immediately correct it. We do not pour good money after bad to perpetuate poor results.

‘Beachheaders’ do not use innocuous euphemisms & political correctness to gloss over the brutal truths & categorical failures of Aid. More people suffer & die unnecessarily when we do.

‘Beachheaders’ are not in this to build long, well paid ‘careers’ in poverty. We are proud volunteers and recognize that every DONATED $1 spent on the aid bureaucracy’s salary & benefits, buildings, conferences & awareness campaigns…….is a $1 not spent directly on intended recipients, where a dollar makes big difference.
