Trump and friends are once again spreading a lot of lies about the ACA (Obamacare) and trying to convince people that they don’t need it. I am appalled at this, the ONLY reason anyone would not want the ACA is because they don’t understand what it is. Introduced in 1910, people forget that before the ACA medical bankruptcies was 62% of all bankruptcies in the USA, this is because before the ACA you could be dropped by your insurance when you got sick, there was no such thing as maximum out of pocket and you could be denied coverage because of pre-existing conditions. Additionally, lifetime maximums were in the fine print, your insurance in the middle of your cancer treatment and you hit the lifetime maximum if $100k, a common policy limit, and you lost coverage for life! Returning to this is truly like a dig returning to its vomit! Let’s be educated and not fall for the lies!
