Straight From The Streets The focus of the program is to be the voice that brings public awareness of the plight of the homeless through a variety of resources.

The founding of this organization is a direct result of committed and dedicated work of co-founder Linda Lera Randle El, who provided outreach service to the homeless community for almost 20 years. The working Board of Directors is comprised of a diverse cross-section of the community advocates including business, law enforcement, social services and private citizens. Straight From The Streets is

supported by private donations and funds and prides itself on operating intentionally without the assistance of government funds. The philosophy was born out of the need to be able to speak and work without restraints that are required by most bureaucratic systems.
