Another great 2025 Sheriff 's Asian Advisory Council (SAAC) Event hosted by the AAG & AACN under Chairman Harry Singh and President Rita Vaswani.

The SAAC is a semi-annual gathering that brings together Sheriff Kevin McMahill, his Undersheriffs & Area Captains, with the local Asian American and Pacific Islander Community Leaders, to be part of this important conversation.

Present also were: Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford, Nevada U.S. Congresswoman Susie Lee, Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley, and Representatives: Brittney Miller, Reuben D'Silva II, Heidi Kasama and Rebecca Edgeworth.
Palms Mortuary President Celena DiLullo, who couldn't make it at the Awarding event last August, received her 2025 AAG Community Achievement Award.

An incredible evening hosted by the Asian American Group (AAG) where more than 130 distinguished local leaders gathered to discuss programs and opportunities to solve the current homelessness and mental health issues in our community.

Special thanks to powerful community leaders: Rita Vaswani, AAG President; and Harry Singh, AAG Chairman; for organizing this event; as well as to the wonderful Judges, community leaders, and elected officials who graced the occasion: Congresswoman Dina Titus, Congresswoman Susie Lee; Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero, Assemblyman Reuben D'Silva II, Assemblywoman Hanadi Nadeem; City Councilman Jim Seebock, City Councilman Isaac Barron, North Las Vegas Mayor Pro Temp Scott Black; and Nevada Justices and Judges, represented by no less than Nevada Supreme Court Chief Justice Douglas Herndon.

AAG Chairman Harry Singh announced the collaboration between the Nevada Community Health Center and Orion West Medical Group, to help the underserved community for their medical needs. Orion West is located at 1771 E. Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas 89119.

The event lived up to the AAG tag line by the late AAG President Mike Vaswani: "Unity is Our Priority and Strength."

Asian American Group fashion show featuring beautiful models from Special Olympics, escorted by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Officers. The event's fashion show benefited Autism Cares, a nonprofit organization that supports community inclusion for autistic teens and adults.
