Periods don’t clock in and clock out. They last for days. They need to be managed throughout the day, and they don’t magically stop because someone walked into the office.

It’s time to change the conversation about periods in the workplace. And quickly.

Yesterday, our Founder spent the day in Reno with Soroptimist International of Sierra Reno, a group of women committed to empowering women and girls and creating lasting change throughout Northern Nevada.

Ending period poverty is one of their pillars, and they’ve chosen to support Project Marilyn as we expand our mission north.

But here’s the thing: we don’t want to be the Las Vegas charity that came to Reno.

We could pack our kits in Las Vegas and ship them north. But we believe the greatest impact happens when a community supports its neighbors.

We’re bringing the framework, experience and supplies. Now we want Northern Nevada to help lead the way.

We’re excited to expand Project Marilyn’s mission across Northern Nevada, and we know we can do it better together.
