The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) USA Chapter proudly extends its warmest congratulations to our esteemed member and COPA Director, Engr. Cromwell Andreau Lamug, on being formally conferred as an International Professional Engineer (IntPE) by the Philippine Technological Council (PTC) on May 23, 2026.

This prestigious international recognition reflects Engr. Lamug’s exceptional professional competence, extensive engineering experience, unwavering commitment to excellence, and adherence to the highest standards of engineering practice. The IntPE credential is globally recognized and signifies that an engineer has met internationally benchmarked standards of professional practice and ethical conduct.

About Engr. Cromwell Andreau Lamug

Engr. Lamug is a Registered and Licensed Professional Civil Engineer with more than 20 years of progressive experience in traffic operations engineering, transportation infrastructure, construction management, highway safety systems, and public works administration.

He currently serves as Civil Engineer III – Supervisor with the Traffic Safety Department of the Road Commission for Oakland County, Michigan, overseeing countywide traffic safety programs, construction staging operations, pavement marking contracts, and roadway safety systems. His responsibilities include supervising engineering staff, conducting quality control reviews, coordinating with contractors and public agencies, and ensuring compliance with MDOT standards and federal regulations.

His distinguished professional career includes service as:

Civil Engineer with GM Engineers and Associates
Construction Inspector and Site Leader with the City of Detroit Department of Public Works
Traffic Control Quality Improvement Project Coordinator
Staff Engineer with the Wayne County Department of Public Services

Throughout his career, he has been involved in engineering design, transportation planning, construction inspection, project management, cost estimating, and infrastructure development.

Academically, Engr. Lamug holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Saint Louis University. He also possesses numerous professional certifications, including MDOT Field Manager Certification, ATSSA Pavement Marking Inspection Certification, and certifications in soil erosion, stormwater management, and construction materials testing.

Beyond his professional achievements, Engr. Lamug honorably served in the United States Army during Operation Enduring Freedom (2012) and continues to contribute to the engineering profession through his leadership and service within PICE USA Chapter.
