This is Lucy.. She is a 2 year old 45 lb bully mix looking for her forever home. Lucy is up to date on all her shots. Potty trained as well.
She is great with kids and dogs.. She is shy with men at first as she was rescued from a male that abused her. Once she warms up she is perfect.

Today we received devastating news. After 5.5 amazing years with his loving adoptive family, Frost has crossed the rainbow bridge. We are absolutely heartbroken for him and his family. Frost was a unique fella with a special personality. To this day he still holds the title for the biggest couch potato we’ve ever encountered. We take solace in knowing that he spent his final years in a home that loved him and adored him unconditionally.

For the past four years of life, Yoshi has been the invisible dog. He has been left outside on a short chain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No love. No exercise. No escape from the brutal temperatures. Nothing and no one to call his own. For nearly 1500 days, he’s been forced to live in the same small circumference with no hope in site.

Fortunately, an acquaintance has convinced the owners to surrender him. We want to give Yoshi a fresh start at life. Despite the neglect he has suffered, he is a very sweet boy with a huge heart. The simplest gesture of a pet or a belly rub gives Yoshi the greatest glee as it’s something he rarely experiences. He is mild mannered, and does well with both kids and other dogs.

Yoshi is a 6yo, Male Siberian Husky with a guesstimated weight of 60-70 pounds. We’d like to get Yoshi off that chain and into a foster home ASAP. There’s so many firsts Yoshi has yet to experience, however, we know the greatest one will be true love. If you can foster Yoshi, please fill out a dog interest form at Resqmelv.org. Res-Q-Me animal rescue Is excited to invite you to our Fundraising event. Please join us March, 13th to paint and drink for a good cause! All proceeds will go to saving at-risk shelter animals from euthanasia.

We are a foster based 501c organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming forgotten shelter pets. It is our hope to reduce euthanasia rates by actively combatting animal suffering caused by overbreeding, abandonment, and cruelty. We have proudly placed over 300 rescue pets in their FURever home.

We are very much in need of the help of our community and supporters.

We rescued Miley from the local shelter after her owner passed away. Due to her age and diabetes condition, she was at high risk of euthenesia. Up until recently, Miley has been living a happy and health life in her foster home. However, overnight she became very Ill. She began experiencing labored breathing, lethargia, bloody diarrhea and unwillingness to eat. We rushed her to the hospital and was told she had a severe amount of abdominal fluid. We are currently awaiting the findings from the vet. The estimation for her hospitalization is between $2200-$3300. We are asking for any donations- large or small. Everything helps! Thank you to everyone that has continued to support us in our efforts. It is only because of your generosity, that we have been able to save so many pups in need.

Our sweet Miley is still waiting for her forever home. She’s a 10 year old Yorkie that’s very sweet and as easy as they come. Miley is the perfect companion and is perfect for cuddles on the couch. She is potty trained and doesn’t bark at all. She gets along with dogs of all sizes even though most of the time she does her own thing. Miley is a diabetic and requires a shot before she eats twice a day but she doesn’t mind it at all.

At 10 years old, sweet Miley has lost the only human and home she’s ever known. Sadly, Miley’s owner passed away and with nobody able to care for her, she found herself all alone in a local shelter. Our hearts broke for her and we knew we had to step in. We are delighted to welcome Miley to Res-Q-Me and are determined to turn her unfortunate circumstances into a positive outcome.

Miley is a sweet senior Yorkie with an adorable personality. She enjoys the life of leisure and is looking for a home to match her calm demeanor. She is well mannered, potty trained, and does well with others.

Miley will require a special family as she is diabetic and will need daily insulin injections for the remainder of her golden years. In exchange, Miley will bless you with years of joy and itty bitty kisses.

Miley is currently in a temporary foster home but will soon need a longterm foster or adopter. If you can be the happy ending to this sweet girls story, please fill out a ‘dog interest’ form at resqmelv.org

Venice and Tank celebrated their one year adoption anniversary by writing us a letter. We’re so happy for them! Here’s what they had to say:

Thank you, ResQMe, for bringing us here. At the beginning, we didn’t know what was going on or why we were there. Where was the other people we lived with? But Mom and Dad are taking real good care of us. We’re never hungry. When we’re good, we get treats and they’re delicious! There’s a lot of toys to play with. We’re never left alone for too long. When they do go away somewhere for a while, another girl comes over to the house. She said she is baby sitting us. What is that? They take us on adventures. We don’t know where it was but we played at this place with cold stuff on the ground. It was a lot of fun. We’ve taken a lot of car rides, sometimes short, other times were too long and we always had to stop so we can p*e, but we always end up somewhere new. We like our home and the cat and the white foo-foo thing that barks. They’re ok, too. Thank you for letting us stay here with Mom and Dad. We’ve heard them talk about us and say how lucky and thankful they are to have us. Isn’t that sweet? Sometimes they look through pictures of Kai and Blue and we can tell they get sad and misses them. Then they hug and kiss us. And usually that makes them feel better.

We had a great 1st year and we’re looking forward to the rest of our lives here with Mom and Dad
