LVMPD Foundation

LVMPD Foundation The LVMPD Foundation was established in 1999 and is dedicated to supporting programs that help keep our community safer.

This includes programs that prevent crime, save lives and make Southern Nevada a safer place to live, work and visit. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to raise funds to support three strategic priorities of LVMPD: equipment and technology, training, and impactful youth and community programs. Since 1999, we have de

dicated ourselves to fostering a safer, more connected Las Vegas by supporting initiatives that build trust between law enforcement and the communities they protect. Our vision is for the greater Las Vegas area to be the safest community, served by the best-trained and equipped law enforcement agency, with thriving relationships between LVMPD officers and the neighborhoods they serve. Through the Joint Emergency Training Institute (JETI), we’re advancing first responder training in a world-class facility that empowers Southern Nevada’s first responders to stay prepared and responsive to any challenge. Join us in supporting a stronger, safer Las Vegas. Your contributions make a meaningful impact on our community.

Earlier this month, the LVMPD Foundation helped create a special moment for LVMPD Southeast Area Command Officer Ryan LaPolla, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Las Vegas Ballpark before the Las Vegas Aviators Baseball Team took on the Albuquerque Isotopes.

Opportunities like these help strengthen the connection between officers and the community they serve, both on and off the field.

More than 40 incredible volunteers joined us at Metro HQ for our Volunteer Appreciation Reception, an evening dedicated to recognizing the people who continue to show up for our community.

Volunteers who contributed 20+ hours in 2026 were recognized while everyone enjoyed tacos, connection, and a first look at our new volunteer gaming chip, shirts, and specialty jackets.

A special thank you to Ashley Snow, whose dedication and care help make our volunteer program so meaningful.
