Maisie’s journey didn’t end after her TPLO surgery.

After tearing her CCL, Maisie underwent TPLO surgery with another veterinarian. Unfortunately, her original surgical site later became infected. Antibiotics were initially used in an attempt to treat the infection, but ultimately, the surgical plate needed to be removed.

That’s when Maisie came to Majestic Park Animal Care.

With the help of an MPAC board-certified surgeon, Maisie underwent surgery to remove the plate and finally begin moving forward in her recovery.

Today, Maisie is healing, getting stronger, and doing something pretty incredible — traveling the country with her family.

Her story is a reminder of just how much the right veterinary care can change the course of a pet’s life.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out, created with us, sipped with us, and helped raise funds for local pets needing life-saving cancer treatment and emergency surgeries.
