🐾Meet Fasi🐾

Fasi is one of the lucky ones. This sweet boy was saved yesterday just before the rest of his family was taken to the shelter. We had a foster lined up for him at the last minute, but unfortunately it fell through.

At only 1 year old, Fasi has spent his entire life living in a backyard. A few weeks ago, we assisted this family during an eviction situation by getting him neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped while trying to help find placement for the dogs.

Despite everything he has been through, Fasi is an incredibly sweet and loving boy. He adores people, does well with children, and is so thankful to be safe. He urgently needs a foster home where he can decompress, experience life indoors, and learn what it means to be part of a family.

Last night, he slept peacefully, finally able to rest somewhere safe. We know he is still confused and likely wondering where the rest of his dog family is, but we are determined to give him the chance he deserves.

‼️Urgent Foster Needed for Bailey & Madison‼️

Bailey and Madison are two sweet 5-year-old girls who are in urgent need of a foster home.

Their owner sadly passed away yesterday, and they now need a safe place to go while we work on finding a permanent solution. This is an incredibly difficult and emotional situation, and we are hoping someone can open their home to help these deserving dogs.

Bailey is a Chihuahua mix and Madison is a Terrier mix. Both girls are friendly, well-mannered companions who love people, get along well with other dogs, are potty trained, and are also p*e pad trained.

They have lost the only person they have known and are now facing a lot of uncertainty. We would love to keep them together if possible and give them the stability, comfort, and love they need during this transition.

We have some heartbreaking news to share.

Early this morning, I received a call from a woman who had previously surrendered her Bulldog, Queen, and Shih Tzu, Mia, to our rescue several months ago. What I didn’t know was that Queen had a brother named King.

King had become sick just a day or two ago after being around another dog that was also ill, and his condition rapidly declined. He was initially seen at an emergency veterinarian, but unfortunately the owner was unable to continue covering the escalating costs of treatment. I asked her to bring him to our veterinarian so we could at least determine what was going on and see if there was anything we could do to help.

After bloodwork and X-rays, the results were devastating. King had severe pneumonia, and his lungs were in terrible condition. He was struggling to breathe, drifting in and out of consciousness, and his body temperature was dropping. The veterinarian told us she did not believe he would even survive the drive back to the emergency hospital.

The kindest and most compassionate thing we could do was to end his suffering and humanely euthanize him.

King was only 4 years old.

Our hearts are broken. We wish we had known he was there sooner so that we could have helped him before things became so severe. We feel terrible that despite our efforts, we could not save him.

This was also a completely unexpected medical expense for our rescue. If you would like to make a donation in King’s memory, it would be greatly appreciated and would help us continue helping dogs in need.

🚨 URGENT – WE ARE BEGGING FOR HELP! 🚨

We are absolutely pleading with our community right now.

We were able to get Tasi out of a heartbreaking backyard situation where a family was evicted. These dogs have spent their entire lives knowing nothing but dirt, a fence, and a backyard. Despite that, they are incredibly sweet dogs who deserve a chance at a better life.

If we cannot find fosters or adopters, they will be taken to The Animal Foundation tomorrow, where their fate will be unknown.

Tasi is thriving now that she’s experiencing life inside a home. She is so sweet and so thankful to finally be safe, loved, and cared for. These dogs don’t need perfection—they just need patience, kindness, and someone willing to show them what life can be. They will repay you with endless gratitude and love.

I have personally met these dogs. They are not aggressive or bad dogs. They simply have never been given an opportunity.

🐾 Rescue Update! 🐾

We have some great updates to share!

❤️ Sage is officially off to her training program and already has a potential adopter interested in her! This girl has proven to be such a social butterfly. She is confident, friendly, and absolutely loves people. Sage did wonderfully in temporary boarding, was great around other dogs, and even enjoyed a much-needed bath. We are so excited for her future and can’t wait to see her continue to thrive.

❤️ Tasi was discharged from the vet today after being hospitalized overnight. This sweet girl is understandably fearful after everything she has been through. She doesn’t know how to walk on a leash yet, and we had to gently lift her into her foster’s car. Despite her fears, she is incredibly sweet and deserves every chance at a happy life. We are hopeful that with time, patience, and love, she will heal, decompress, and learn what it means to simply be a dog in a safe and loving home.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR YOUNG GERMAN SHEPHERD MAMA 🚨

We have a heartbreaking and extremely urgent situation that needs immediate help.

These German Shepherds have been living outside 24/7, exposed to the elements and the extreme Las Vegas heat. The family has been evicted, and the dogs’ future is hanging in the balance.

We recently assisted with getting the male German Shepherd neutered, but unfortunately it was too late. One of the 1-year-old female German Shepherds had already become pregnant, and nobody knew she was expecting.

Today, when someone checked on the dogs, they found a deceased newborn puppy being carried around by one of the other dogs. There was blood everywhere. We immediately rushed to the property and got this young mama to the vet as an emergency situation.

This poor girl arrived with a fever of 105°F and is now hospitalized overnight. Despite searching the yard, we were unable to locate any additional puppies. We do not know if there was only one puppy or if there were others.

Imagine giving birth alone in a dirt yard during 110-degree weather while living outside with multiple dogs. At just 1 year old, she is still a puppy herself.

The one bright spot in all of this is that she has been incredibly sweet with veterinary staff and our rescue team. She tolerated a much-needed bath and has shown nothing but kindness despite everything she has been through.

She cannot go back to that backyard. She needs a safe, cool place to recover and decompress, but we have nowhere for her to go when she is discharged from the hospital.

We are desperately searching for a foster home immediately. Without fosters, we cannot continue stepping in to help dogs like her.

The remaining German Shepherds are scheduled to be surrendered to the Animal Foundation on July 3rd and July 10th, and we are very worried about what their future may hold.
