Our 8th annual Pinewood Derby Race was a huge success! We debuted our new aluminum race track with laser finish line funded through popcorn sales! We raced 54 cars in just under 2 hours. It was a GREAT day of fun and fellowship!

This morning our pack joined other packs and troops from the Las Vegas Area Council to participate in the Wreaths Across America project. We helped lay 8,844 wreaths this morning to remember veterans this holiday season. We will never forget those who proudly served our country and fought for our freedoms.

Happiest of holiday wishes from the festive pack of cubs scouts! We celebrated the season with our annual cookie exchange and festive attire. We collected an AMAZING haul of toy donations for the Clark County Family Services Foster Care System Give Joy campaign. The director was very grateful when we delivered the donations to our council executives at the roundtable meeting. We are so happy to spread some joy to kids in our community during the holidays!!!

Valley of Fire 2025 campout with 22 scouts and 20 adults. We hiked, climbed rocks, gazed at stars, made stomp rockets, painted, learned to cook, learned to pitch a tent, learned basic knots, and how to safely start not one but TWO campfires. We hiked the Rainbow Vista trail and learned about historic petroglyphs. We had big horn sheep visit our camp several times. Core memories were made with great friends this weekend. We love scouting and all the fun adventures we get to share with each other!

A few of our scouts spent a beautiful morning laying wreaths at the veterans cemetary for Wreaths Across America. It was an honor to share this humbling experience, and to recognize those who have served our country. Our scouts laid about 100 wreaths of the total 12,084 wreaths today.
