Today we celebrate for reaching 8 years of sobriety — a powerful testament to resilience and determination. Because of Darren’s journey and the generosity of our donors over the years, 86 young adults in Las Vegas have received life-changing Against the Wall grants for rehab treatment.

Mobilize Recovery is proud to welcome Darren Waller, NFL star, recovery advocate, and founder of the Darren Waller Foundation as a co-chair for Campus Surge 2025. 🏈

He’s joining forces with fellow co-chairs Jelly Roll and Melissa Etheridge to spread one powerful message: Recovery is possible, and it's worth fighting for.

Darren’s story is one of strength, second chances, and service. After a near-fatal overdose and a year-long suspension from the NFL, he reached out for help and has been sober since 2017.

“The stigma around addiction keeps so many people suffering in silence. I want people to know there’s no shame in asking for help.”

Through his foundation, The Darren Waller Foundation has already reached thousands of young people with hope and healing. Now, he’s bringing that message to college campuses nationwide—helping students organize, uplift one another, and build stronger recovery communities.
