💵 $5 FRIDAY — WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP 💵

Again😔

We wish we had better news to share today, but the reality is that we have not been able to raise enough money to cover the medical expenses we’ve already accrued for the dogs currently in our care—let alone the medical expenses still ahead of us.

Because of this, we remain on intake hold. 💔

Every single day, we receive messages asking us to take in dogs who need help. Dogs being surrendered. Dogs in shelters. Dogs with medical needs. Dogs with nowhere else to go.

And right now, we have to say no.

We will continue having to say no until we can raise enough money to get caught up and make sure the dogs already depending on us receive the care they need.

And right now, some of them are waiting.

💔 We had to cancel Jiggly & Princeton’s physical therapy this week because we simply did not have the funds to pay for it.😭 We need $600 to purchase their package.

🏥 We still owe over $1,000 for Crinkle’s ear surgery.

👁️ Mama Winks needs her eye removed and needs to be spayed/neutered due to being intersex. Her surgery will cost approximately $1,200—and we cannot schedule it until we have the funds.

This is the reality of rescue. We cannot keep saying yes when we don’t have the money to properly care for the dogs we’ve already said yes to.

But saying no is heartbreaking.

We have over 12,000 followers. Imagine if even a small percentage donated just $5 today. Those $5 donations add up—and they could help us get Jiggly & Princeton back to therapy, pay Crinkle’s bill, get Mama Winks her surgery, and finally put us in a position to OPEN INTAKE again. 🙏

UPDATE-
The status of this dog is unknown.
The person who reached out said he is out of town and the relative with the dog is not responding. He advised we could get the dog Monday when he is back in town. We asked to just give us an address so we can go get the dog and asked if there wasn’t another relative that could help us get the dog and we have not received a response. We are obviously extremely upset and will keep trying and update if we are able to secure him. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers with us. 😭♥️

🚨 IMMEDIATE URGENT FOSTER NEEDED — LAS VEGAS 🚨

We just received a desperate request to help this beautiful boy, and we need a committed, reliable foster IMMEDIATELY in order to say yes.

His owner is terminally ill and currently hospitalized. The person he trusted to care for his dog no longer wants to care for him and is leaving him OUTSIDE.

In Las Vegas. In August.

THIS DOG CANNOT LIVE OUTSIDE. HE WILL DIE. 💔

This hits especially hard right now. We are currently dealing with the devastating loss of a dog previously adopted from our rescue—one of our very first dogs—who died from heat stroke this weekend.

No dog should live outside in this heat, and a bulldog absolutely cannot tolerate these temperatures for ANY period of time!

We are currently ON INTAKE HOLD. We are not looking to take in more dogs right now. We have dogs already depending on us, vet bills to pay, and I am going out of town. We absolutely cannot take this dog without a reliable foster secured FIRST.

But how do we stand by knowing he is outside and needs help? We can’t. We desperately want to get him to safety.

We are still gathering information. We are told he is dog-friendly, 5 years old and his name is Deebo, but that’s about all we know. He was someone’s pet, and through circumstances completely beyond his control, his entire world has changed.

🚨 WE NEED A LAS VEGAS FOSTER NOW. 🚨

Please understand: we need commitment. We will not have people available to move him again after 24 hours because he peed in the house, cried in a crate, or needs time to adjust.

He may need patience. He may need potty training. He WILL need time to decompress.

Of course, if there is a genuine safety or medical issue, we are always there. But we need someone willing to give him the time and grace he deserves.

🐾 BOBA — OUR WRINKLY PUPPY READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! 🖤🤎

Boba is a barely 1-year-old black tri male English Bulldog, and after a couple of weeks in rescue, getting vetted and settling into his foster home, we’re ready to find this adorable chunk his FOREVER family. 🏡❤️

Boba has already had far too much change in his short life. Before coming to us as an owner surrender, his family was being evicted. Boba and another dog, Ace, were left staying in an empty room in an abandoned building for several days until we were able to get them safely into rescue.

Now Boba is learning what stability looks like. ❤️

At barely a year old, he is still VERY much a puppy — just a puppy built like a tank with a whole lot of wrinkles. 😂 He needs a family committed to continuing his training, working on potty training and giving him the structure and consistency he needs to become the very best boy.

What Boba needs most now is STABILITY. He has already lived in at least three different places in his first year of life. We want his next move to be his LAST.

He deserves a family who will give him the patience, boundaries, training, adventures and unconditional love every puppy deserves. 🥹

🙏 A PERSONAL PLEA FROM OUR PRESIDENT — PLEASE HELP ME GO ON VACATION! 🙏

Hi everyone, Amanda here. ❤️ Today I’m asking our Las Vegas community for a little help—not just for the rescue, but for me.

I have a vacation planned August 23–27, something I very rarely get to do between work, rescue, and having a house full of dogs. I’ve secured a sitter for my personal dogs, but I would LOVE to find temporary fosters for a few of my special-needs foster babies while I’m gone.

🐾 PRINCETON
About 4 years old with limited back-leg mobility from IVDD. He is incontinent but does NOT need his bladder expressed. He wears a belly band/diaper and is honestly pretty easy to care for. He’s sweet, dog-friendly, and just needs a safe place to crash for a few days.

🐾 JIGGLY
A couple years old, also an IVDD baby and incontinent. Jiggly does need her bladder expressed 3–4 times daily, so we need someone experienced and comfortable doing this. Thankfully, she has one of the easiest bladders to express! She’s incredibly sweet, dog-friendly, wears a diaper when needed, and is otherwise a very easy girl.

🐾 MELINA — POSSIBLY
Melina is barely 2 and has an undiagnosed condition that causes regurgitation. She is currently doing GREAT with her routine! She drinks from her little hamster-style bottle and is propped upright and hand-fed twice daily. She can be around other dogs but is not interested in playing and can be protective of toys, so she needs a dog-savvy home.

Melina is NOT an urgent placement. She can stay home with my dog sitter if needed, especially depending on where we are with her current medical needs.

These babies are the reason vacations are difficult for me—but they’re also the reason I do what I do. ❤️ I normally foster our more complicated special-needs dogs, and I just need a little help from my community so I can step away for a few days knowing they’re safe and loved.

💵 $5 FRIDAY — WE NEED YOUR HELP TO REOPEN INTAKE 💵

Right now, three dogs are waiting to come into rescue. And as badly as we want to say YES, we simply cannot accept them until we get our current vet debt under control.

With bulldogs, “healthy” can change in an instant. We can take in a seemingly healthy Frenchie and quickly discover significant medical needs. We can take in a healthy dog who simply doesn’t get adopted quickly, meaning months of food, medications, supplements and supplies and taking care of medical that pops up while in foster. And then there are the dogs we know few others will save—our highly medical babies, like Jiggly, Melina and Princeton who without us faced neglect or even worse ❤️‍🩹

Right now, we’re facing:

🐾 $600 needed by Wednesday for Jiggly & Princeton’s physical therapy package
🐾 $1,500 in vet debt following Crinkle’s ear polyp surgery
🐾 And THREE vet visits TODAY

Bill is getting an Adequan injection to stay ahead of his arthritis.

Betty hasn’t been feeling well. She’s had bad diarrhea and vomiting for a few days and needs an exam and possibly X-rays and bloodwork.

Jiggly needs her eye rechecked and testing for a possible UTI.

We expect today alone will easily add close to another $1,000.

We know we’ve been asking a lot lately. And you have continued to show up for these dogs. But today, we are truly begging and pleading for your help.

We CANNOT help more dogs until we pay these bills. Period. And there is no shortage of those needing us.😔

We have thousands of followers. If everyone gave even $1, imagine what we could accomplish. Five dollars may not feel like much—but together, those $5 donations are what allow us to pay these bills, reopen intake and say YES to the next bulldog who needs us.

These babies deserve medical care, comfort and a kind of love many of them have never experienced before.

We will give it to them. But we cannot do it alone. That is rescue. ❤️

These pups were rescued back in June alongside the dogs we shared earlier, and while so many have found their people, these babies are still patiently waiting for their turn. 🥺

And the hard truth about rescue? The harder-to-place dogs often wait the longest.

Some need to be the only dog.
Some need a quieter, calmer home.
Some just want all of their people’s love to themselves. ❤️

And Bill & Betty? They’re bonded and need to find their forever home together. 🥹

But we KNOW their people are out there.

There are families with the perfect couch, the right environment, and SO MUCH LOVE to give these babies. 🛋️🐾

💙 FRANK NEEDS HIS FOREVER HOME 💙

📍 LOCATED IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Frank will be adopted directly from his current home in SoCal. He is NOT located in Las Vegas.

Frank came into our rescue as a puppy and was adopted, but unfortunately a member of that household was severely allergic to him. He quickly found another wonderful home that has spent the last few years giving him love, structure, training and everything he needed to become the incredible dog he is today. ❤️

Very sadly, Frank’s current owner has recently faced multiple tragedies and is no longer able to care for him. This decision is heartbreaking for his family, but they want what is best for Frank.

Frank is a bigger Frenchie—a gentle giant with a huge heart. He is sweet, playful, affectionate and high-energy. His perfect person will be active and committed to keeping him physically AND mentally stimulated. He wants adventures, walks, playtime and someone who will continue his training.

Frank is e-collar trained. His owner initially tried traditional training to address leash pulling and anxious/excited reactions when seeing other dogs. While Frank loves other dogs, he may initially bark and raise his hackles. The e-collar has given him structure and greatly helped his anxiety and leash manners.

His current owner is offering to personally teach his adopter how to properly continue his e-collar training so Frank has consistency during his transition.

Frank can occasionally be territorial/vocal around food or toys, so his adopter should be comfortable maintaining boundaries and continuing his training.

This boy needs a new home through absolutely NO fault of his own. He has already had his forever change once, and we desperately want his next home to truly be FOREVER. 🥺❤️

Frank is the BEST boy and deserves the very best.

💗 CRINKLE + FUNDRAISING UPDATE 💗

First, the best news: Crinkle made it through surgery today and is back at her foster home resting comfortably. 🥹🐾

Crinkle had a significant amount of abnormal tissue throughout her ear. Today, the goal was to remove the bulkiest portions of that tissue, give her ear some time to heal, wait for her culture results to come back, and see how her body responds — including how quickly, or if, the tissue begins to grow back.

The reality is that we will most likely end up needing to pursue a TECA surgery for Crinkle, which involves complete removal of the ear canal and permanently closing the ear. It is a major and very costly surgery, but we will cross that bridge when we get there. For now, we are incredibly grateful that she is home, comfortable, and recovering. ❤️‍🩹

Now for an update that truly has us emotional…

Earlier today, we shared just how much we are struggling with the multiple vet bills coming in, including Crinkle’s surgery. We explained that we need to raise $2,500 before we can even consider reopening intake.

And in JUST ONE DAY…

😭 YOU HAVE HELPED US RAISE $1,300. 😭

That is HUGE for our little rescue.

We truly cannot thank you enough. Every donation, every share, every person who continues to show up for these dogs — YOU are the reason we are able to keep doing this.

These dogs need us. They deserve the chance to be saved, healed, loved, and given the lives they should have always had. But we simply cannot do it without our community.

✨The sweetest baby girl looking for foster or forever home as an only dog✨

Meet Pocahontas, aka Mama 💕 This beautiful 3-year-old French Bulldog has spent her entire life giving to others. After surviving being repeatedly poorly bred, she’s finally getting the chance to learn what it means to simply be… a dog. ❤️

Since her time in foster care, Mama has made incredible progress. She’s learning that people can be loving, cozy beds are for relaxing, and toys are actually meant to be played with. 🥹 Her favorite possession is a rubber ball that she proudly carries around everywhere, and watching her discover joy has been one of the most rewarding things.

Her tiny legs and chubby body will make you smile everyday!🥰

Mama is an incredibly affectionate little girl who absolutely adores her people. She will happily follow you from room to room, snuggle up beside you, and soak up all the love she missed out on for so many years. She has also made impressive progress with her potty training when kept on a consistent routine. 💖

Because Mama never had the opportunity to have toys or a person of her own, she really treasures those things now. While she is generally dog-friendly, she has shown resource guarding behaviors with her favorite toys and the person she loves most. For that reason, we are looking for a foster or forever home where Mama can be the only dog. 👑

This doesn’t mean she’s reactive or that she can’t enjoy walks, outings, or adventures around other dogs. It simply means that at home, she’d prefer to be the queen of her castle and not have to share her most treasured things.

Mama has so much love to give. Every week she grows more confident, more playful, and more comfortable just being herself. The family who chooses her won’t just be adopting a Frenchie—they’ll be giving a dog who spent her whole life giving to others the chance to finally be someone’s cherished companion. ❤️
