💸🐾 It’s $5 Friday! 🐾💸

The rescue has been BUSY lately, and the expenses just keep coming. 😅

In the last few weeks alone, we’ve welcomed multiple new dogs into rescue, completed several spay and neuter surgeries, and covered extensive veterinary care for some very deserving pups. ❤️

One of our biggest unexpected expenses was Moira’s emergency pyometra surgery. What we thought would be a routine spay turned into a life-saving procedure costing over $1,400. Unfortunately, we raised very little toward that bill. 😔

Then there’s our sweet Toad. 🐸❤️ After X-rays and diagnostics, we learned that he doesn’t have any fractures, dislocations, or past trauma. All four of his legs are simply severely deformed. The good news is that his bloodwork looked great! 🎉

Our next step for Toad will be a consultation for palate surgery because his breathing is very concerning. This happy little guy is finally safe, out of the shelter, and living his best life—and he deserves to breathe comfortably too. 🥹🐾

We have BIG plans for June and hope to save even more dogs, but we can’t do it without your support. 🙏

🏡✨ TAKE THEM HOME TUESDAY ✨🏡

How is little Zipper still waiting for her forever home?! 🥹❤️

This tiny girl is the TOTAL package. She’s adorable, affectionate, dog-friendly, people-friendly, and ready to be someone’s best friend. 🐾✨

Zipper is approximately 2-3 years old and came to our rescue after being found abandoned and wandering with an English Bulldog who has since been adopted. While her friend found a home, sweet Zipper is still patiently waiting for hers.

Since arriving in foster care, Zipper has absolutely thrived. 🌟 She loves going on walks, does great going outside to potty, and enjoys spending time with her foster family. She adores her foster dog sister and loves to play, cuddle, and be part of the action. She also has a special bond with her human foster brother. ❤️

Honestly, Zipper would fit into just about any loving home. She would do well with other dogs, kids, adults, or anyone looking for a sweet companion. She’s easy to love and impossible to resist. 😍

And can we talk about those adorable little dark markings on her tiny toesies?! 🐾💕 We are completely obsessed.

Zipper is spayed, fully vetted, healthy, and ready to find her forever family.

🏡✨ Sloppy Joe is ready for his forever home ✨🏡

We are SO excited to officially announce that Sloppy Joe is available for adoption! 🎉🐾 And somewhere out there is one very lucky family that’s going to get to welcome this adorable little guy into their home. ❤️

Sloppy Joe came to us about a month ago as a breeder surrender. He was being kept on an apartment patio, wasn’t receiving proper care, and when he wasn’t successfully sold, he was surrendered to rescue.

Since then, this sweet boy has gotten a fresh start! ✨ He has been neutered, had his cherry eye repaired, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find his forever family. 🩺✅

Sloppy Joe is approximately 6 months old and is considered a micro bully. He has a cleft lip, which is purely cosmetic and, if you ask us, just makes him even cuter. 😍

This boy LOVES everyone. ❤️ He adores people, loves other dogs, has done well around cats, and would be wonderful with children. He’s playful, affectionate, silly, and always ready for fun.

Like any puppy, he’s still learning. He’s doing great with potty training, uses his crate when needed, and is making excellent progress. Of course, any dog changing homes will need continued guidance and consistency.

If possible, we’d love to see Sloppy Joe go to a home with another playful dog. He absolutely LOVES to play and would thrive with a canine buddy who enjoys puppy antics as much as he does. 🐶🎾

We do not expect him to get much bigger, likely topping out around 35-40 pounds.

📍 Adoption Fee: $650
📍 Located in Las Vegas, NV
📍 Out-of-state adoptions welcome, but adopters must pick him up in Las Vegas within 10 days of agreeing to adoption.

Before applying, please make sure everyone in your home is on board with adopting a dog.

💔 We truly don’t understand why Winnie is still waiting for her forever home.

This sweet girl has been with us for months, and while we’ve watched her blossom into an incredible dog, we’re sad that no family has chosen her yet. Winnie deserves so much more than waiting. ❤️

Winnie came to rescue as a breeder surrender after spending nearly five years living a very sheltered life. When she arrived, she was one of the shyest dogs we’ve ever taken in. She was insecure, unsure of her surroundings, and didn’t seem to know what it was like to simply be a beloved family pet.

Fast forward to today, and thanks to her amazing foster families, Winnie has completely come out of her shell. 🌸

She is playful, affectionate, silly, and so much fun. She loves toys, loves playing fetch, and loves being with her people.

✅ Potty trained
✅ Crate trained
✅ Spayed
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Microchipped
✅ Ready for her forever home

One of Winnie’s favorite things in the world? Kids! ❤️ Both of her foster homes have had young children, and she absolutely adores them. While she doesn’t need a home with kids, she would make an amazing family dog.

Winnie is dog-friendly but selective. She takes a little time to warm up and would do best with a calm, respectful dog who doesn’t expect constant playtime. Winnie would much rather play fetch with her humans than wrestle with another dog all day. 🎾

And let’s be honest… she’s absolutely adorable. 😍 This black-and-tan fluffy Frenchie is a total showstopper.

Please share. Winnie has waited long enough and deserves to finally know what it feels like to be home. 🏡❤️🐾

🏡✨ TAKE THEM HOME…WEDNESDAY ✨🏡

Every week when we post Vella, we’re shocked that we’re still having to do it. Just LOOK at this face. 😍❤️ How has no one scooped her up yet?!

Vella is approximately 5 years old and is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. She came to us as an owner surrender when her family fell on hard times and knew keeping her alone in a bedroom all day wasn’t the life she deserved. They made the difficult decision to let her have a chance at something better, and now we’re determined to find her forever home. 🥹💕

Vella is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, has had a full veterinary exam, and is a healthy girl. ✅🐾

This girl LOVES people. ❤️ She is affectionate, gentle, and just a kind soul. Her foster absolutely adores her. She loves her morning walks and will literally take herself home when she’s decided she’s done for the day. 😂🐶

We’ve received applications for Vella, but we’re looking for a home where she can truly thrive. While Vella is dog-friendly and has even enjoyed some playdates with our Cricket, she’s clearly uncomfortable and insecure around other dogs. We suspect she simply wasn’t well socialized. Because of that, we believe she’d be happiest as an only dog.

For out-of-state adopters, we will not place Vella in a home with another dog.

👧👦 Great with kids
🐱 Cats unknown

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to love her people, Vella is your girl. 🥰

📍 Adoption Fee: $650
📍 Located in Las Vegas, NV
📍 Out-of-state adoptions welcome, but adopters must travel to Las Vegas and pick her up within 10 days of agreeing to adoption.

Please make sure everyone in your home is in agreement about adopting before submitting an application.

Please share! 🙏 Vella is LONG overdue for her happily ever after. ❤️🏡🐾

🚨 More help needed 🚨

This just never ends.💔💔💔

Today we took Moira in for her spay surgery… and found out she had pyometra. What was supposed to be a $200 routine spay turned into an over $1400 emergency surgery.

We are beyond grateful we were able to get Moira out of her breeding situation and into surgery quickly. She had no obvious symptoms—she was eating, acting normal, and seemed completely fine. That’s what makes this so scary. We are so thankful we caught it in time 🙏🥺

We are also incredibly grateful she was surrendered to us… because without that, her outcome would most likely have been fatal.

In the last 6 months, we’ve seen 6 pyometra cases. In the previous 3 years combined, we’ve only seen about the same total. Something is very wrong.

We are seeing far too many dogs coming from breeding situations where C-sections are either not being done by licensed veterinarians—or not being done properly at all. Whether it’s improper technique or incomplete care afterward, these girls are paying the price with life-threatening uterine infections like pyometra.

Pyometra is not minor. It is deadly. 💔 There is “open” pyometra with visible discharge, and “closed” pyometra where everything is trapped inside. Moira had closed pyometra. If she hadn’t been spayed when she was, this could have turned catastrophic very quickly.

We are emotionally drained, and today’s bill is a major blow we did not anticipate.

We are so grateful for the support you’ve shown for recent dogs like the abandoned Frenchie in the yard and Toad—but we are hurting right now and truly need help getting through this one.

Adoptions are slow with summer travel season, but the dogs keep coming and emergencies don’t stop. We keep saying yes… and we will try to keep doing so —but we can’t do it alone 💔

If you’re able to donate even a few dollars, it would mean the world right now.

🤍🐾 WELCOME OUR NEW BABY BOY! 🐾🤍

Today was supposed to be the day we picked up TWO 12-week-old Frenchie puppies. Unfortunately, one of the puppies wasn’t able to make it today, but we’re hopeful we’ll be welcoming him on Thursday. 🤞

In the meantime, we brought home this absolutely incredible little guy. 😍 This handsome boy is about 12 weeks old, fluffy, and has the cutest little lilac spots throughout his white coat, photos honestly don’t do him justice. 💙

The biggest surprise? After picking him up, we learned that he is actually Moira’s son! 🥹 Moira had her final litter about 12 weeks ago, and this sweet baby is one of her puppies.

Right now, he’s very scared of people. He simply hasn’t had much exposure to them or many positive interactions. The good news is that he’s already enjoying spending time with the other dogs, and we’re committed to showing him that people can be kind, patient, and safe. ❤️

Tomorrow he’ll be heading in for vaccines and a microchip, and we’ll be scheduling his neuter in the coming weeks. We have already secured a foster home for him, and we couldn’t be more excited that he’s getting the chance to live the life every puppy deserves. 🏡✨

Knowing what his future likely would have been makes us even more grateful he’s here. Instead of spending his life in a crate or eventually being used for breeding, he now has a chance at love, comfort, and a family of his own. 🥹

We don’t have a name for him yet, but stay tuned! We can’t wait to share more updates and hopefully introduce puppy #2 on Thursday. 🐶💕

If you’re able to contribute even $5 toward his medical care and expenses, we would be so grateful. Every donation helps us continue saying “yes” to dogs like him. 🙏

Thank you for supporting our rescue. It is because of all of you that we are able to continue saving lives. We appreciate you more than words can say. ❤️

🚨 And it just never, ever ends… 🚨

The requests to take in dogs are endless, and saying no is never easy.

We were recently contacted by a breeder looking to surrender two 12 week-old French Bulldog puppies. At this time, we have not been provided photos or much information beyond being told that they appear healthy.

Unfortunately, this is a story we see far too often. Puppies who aren’t considered “high quality” enough to bring in the profit breeders hoped for, or puppies who simply haven’t sold quickly enough, are often discarded and pushed off to rescue.

While we’re frustrated by the cycle, we’re grateful these puppies are being surrendered instead of facing the alternative. Every puppy we take in is one less dog potentially destined for a future of being passed from breeder to breeder and contributing to the overwhelming overpopulation crisis we see every day. We all know how many of these dogs end up when they become adults, and it’s heartbreaking.

So, we’ve said YES. ❤️

These two puppies will be coming into our care tonight, and we’ll share photos and additional information as soon as we have them.

Right now, we urgently need foster homes- LAS VEGAS ONLY. The puppies are scheduled to arrive tonight and, while our rescue president can temporarily house them, she will be out of town this weekend. We’d love to have foster homes lined up by Wednesday evening.

🐾 They do NOT need to be fostered together.
🐾 We provide all supplies.
🐾 We cover all veterinary care.
🐾 We simply need loving homes willing to give them a safe place to land while they get vetted and prepared for adoption.

If you’ve ever considered fostering a Frenchie puppy, now is the time!

Please fill out a foster application through the Linktree in our bio.

Again, we do not have photos or additional details just yet, but we will have more information later this evening and will update everyone as soon as possible.🥹

❤️ Please help us spread the word. These babies deserve a soft landing.

🐸 TOAD IS SAFE! 🐸❤️

There are days when we save a dog from euthanasia and it hits a little differently.

Today is one of those days.

It’s hard to look at Toad and imagine that just hours ago, he was scheduled to lose his life. We find ourselves asking the same question over and over: How could a dog this sweet, this happy, and this full of life not have been given another day?

We’re not going to sugarcoat it—Toad is kind of a disaster. 😅

As adorable as he is, he is also the epitome of poor breeding. We strongly suspect he may have been used for breeding at some point, and unfortunately, his body shows the consequences.

His front feet have significant abnormalities, with one being extremely flat. He also has a very abnormal gait, and we are highly suspicious that he may have two dislocated hips, with the left side appearing worse than the right. It is literally hard to watch him walk. 😔 Unfortunately, the shelter did not perform X-rays, so that will now be our responsibility.

His ears have some hair loss, but otherwise look pretty good. He other biggest concern may actually be his airway. While he is oxygenating well, listening to him breathe is difficult, and we suspect BOAS surgery will likely be in his future.

Despite all of this… Toad is HAPPY. 🥹❤️

He has been nothing but sweet, affectionate, and grateful. We introduced him to a few dogs today and he appears to be very dog-friendly as well.

Tomorrow we’ll be scheduling neuter surgery, X-rays, and diagnostics so we can determine the best path forward. If his hips are truly dislocated, we may be facing significant orthopedic surgery to give him the quality of life he deserves.

We are so proud that Toad is alive tonight. But now comes the hard part.

We need your help. 🙏

The dogs we’re saving are arriving with more complex medical needs than ever before, and Toad is no exception. If you’re able to help, even $5 makes a difference.

🚨 URGENT: WE ARE STEPPING IN 🚨

For the last several days, we’ve been tagged over and over in posts about this sweet boy. We were desperately hoping another rescue would step forward and save him, but as the hours counted down, no one came.

Today, he was scheduled to be euthanized at 3:00 PM. 💔

We couldn’t let that happen.

So tonight, at 5:30 PM, we will be picking him up and giving him the chance he deserves. 🐾❤️

This poor guy was found as a stray in heartbreaking condition. He is extremely emaciated, has concerning skin issues, and appears to have abnormal conformation in his front legs, along with possible mobility concerns affecting his back legs. We don’t know his full story yet, but we do know that he deserves better than ending his life alone in a shelter.

We are committed to getting him safe, comfortable, and the medical care he needs, but we cannot do it without your help.

🙏 PLEASE HELP US SAVE HIM 🙏

His freedom ride is happening this evening, and medical expenses will begin immediately. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us give this boy a fighting chance.
