📚 APP Education at IPOS 2026! 📚
POPS President Colleen Ditro, DNP, highlights the exciting educational offerings planned for the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Track at IPOS in Orlando, Florida, December 1–5! 🌴

Throughout the conference, there will be three dedicated APP sessions that are engaging and clinically focused. Content is tailored from novice providers through highly experienced advanced practice providers.

Whether you’re early in your APP career or an experienced provider looking to expand your expertise, there will be opportunities to learn, practice, and connect with colleagues in the field.

We’re proud to celebrate our Pediatric Orthopaedic Practitioner Society (POPS) members who attended and presented at the Global Pediatric Hip Symposium, sponsored by the University of British Columbia Orthopaedics and Hip Hope Network, September 11–12 in Vancouver, BC.
Bringing together pediatric hip experts from around the world, the symposium fostered collaboration and innovation to advance care for children with hip conditions. We applaud our colleagues for their dedication to lifelong learning and improving outcomes for pediatric patients.

Our Pediatric Orthopedic Practitioner Society (POPS) Board of Directors recently gathered in beautiful Wilmington, Delaware, at Nemours Children’s Hospital, graciously hosted by our President, Colleen Ditro.

We had a productive and inspiring meeting filled with thoughtful discussion and exciting ideas for the future. Our agenda included bylaw changes, educational offerings, future initiatives, member support, and so much more.

We are incredibly excited about the year ahead and the opportunities to continue growing our organization and providing meaningful education, resources, and connection for our members. 💙

A huge thank you to Colleen for hosting us and to our dedicated Board of Directors for the time, energy, and passion you bring to POPS!

Rachel is the first Advanced Practice Provider to present from the podium at POSNA — an incredible milestone that reflects the growing impact of APP leadership, research, and innovation in pediatric orthopedic care.
