Tying micro leeches at our July meeting. We had the chance to get out fishing in town this weekend and found a few bass and sunfish. We're hoping for some cooler weather and a little bit of rain in the forecast before our September outing!

At our meeting this past week we recapped our most recent outing, touching on some highlights of the fishing and all around good times that we had. We had the chance to review some knots and revisit end to end rod setup. We're looking forward to our next trip in August. Another great outing in the books for our Project Healing Waters Las Vegas program. We spent the weekend fishing, sharing meals, and enjoying time outdoors with a great group of Veterans and volunteers. The fishing treated us well, with everyone finding success on the water and plenty of opportunities to learn, improve skills, and enjoy the experience.

A sincere thank you to everyone who helps out behind the scenes to make these trips happen—from hauling gear and preparing meals to helping participants on the water. We also appreciate everyone who took the time to join us and contribute to a fun, relaxed weekend. We're already looking forward to our next outing in August!
