🚨URGENT RESCUE UNDERWAY🚨

We are en route to pick up a female Bulldog from a Houston area shelter with a horrific uterine/vaginal prolapse of unknown cause. She will be headed straight to one of our partner clinics for surgery and then we wait for news that she survived and will be ok. ❤️‍🩹

Given that this is an emergency situation and she had until end of day to be tagged and pulled into rescue, our ability to effectively plan in advance was little-to-none… one of those “jump now, ask later” types of situations.

This is a painful condition - I mean… I don’t even want to think about how that must feel 🥴… and there really is no time to wait.

We are begging for help.

Right now, we have dogs in our care with nowhere to go. Dogs scheduled to arrive this weekend with no foster homes waiting for them...

• Hershey needs a new foster by the end of the month
• Lincoln needs a new foster in March if he isn’t adopted
• Tommy, Luna, and Simba arrive Sunday with no fosters lined up for them

Five dogs without permanent placement. So intake is closed 😔

Even though multiple owner surrender requests come in daily.
Even though euthanasia lists are published every week.
Even though their time runs out every Friday.

We hate this. But we cannot say yes without homes here in Maine opening their doors.

Pittie Posse cannot run without you. We cannot save lives without fosters and adopters.

Today would’ve been Boog Boogs 10th birthday. Every day still sucks without him. I see so many of his traits in Brady I know he’s still here.
I’m still trying to find time and help to keep Boogy2therescue up and running. Megan and I are doing the best we can. If you see a dog that needs help please feel free to tag us and we will do our best.
Enjoy some of these memories of Boogy. He was always willing to do his job and smile for the camera. Even when the others were done.

🚨 CRITICAL RESCUE IN PROGRESS 🚨

We are en route to pick up this little baby from a North Texas shelter. She came in today with - what appear to be - wounds from another animal all over her chest, face, legs and abdomen.

This little miss will need a name - - and supportive assistance to ensure all her needs are met. We have NO idea what she’s facing nor the extent of the damage of these wounds.

But what we do know is that she is worth the effort to save and we only hope you feel the same. 💔
