A face that’ll break your heart...
A body that is abused and broken.

We were contacted over the weekend about a pit bull puppy is deplorable condition in central Texas. His face and condition reminded us greatly of past loves - like Suri, Sookie, and Conrad - but his body tells a more grave story.

This puppy’s back legs are both broken; one more severe than the other. His skin has deep scarring and scabbing from prolonged, untreated mange; now sloughing off in chunks, leaving his vulnerable skin exposed.

He is bloody, bruised, and in pain.
In fact, we questioned what his quality of life is and would be; and if surgical intervention would even be a kind solution.

His medical file was reviewed by three (3) separate veterinarians, at three (3) different practices. And the resounding answer was that:
1. This is recoverable; and
2. He deserves the chance.

So we tagged him.
And then we looked at our bank account and got anxious...
But then we reminded ourselves that the MAS Bully Family *always* comes through.

We have secured a surgical and recovery foster home for him, with veterinary nursing experience and a passion for the broken.

He comes “home” to us, tomorrow.
..and we have 24 hours to prepare. 😳

What does he need? A name. We’ll take care of the rest. ❤️‍🩹
What do we need? CRITICAL funding support. 🚨

We’ve hinted at it for a while. Fundraising is down, but the need is higher than it ever has been before. If you are able to make a tax-deductible, financial contribution towards this itty bitty pittie’s care, we (and he) would be so, incredibly grateful.

It’s time, y’all. It’s time to make the decision to save a life in critical need.

Thank you to everyone who shared Pebbles info and those who donated. We were able to raise $135 and I matched it. Please keep sharing dogs in need.

NEXT PICS VERY GRAPHIC. I will match the first $250 donated through Boogy2therescue. For those that don’t know what we do is I raise money to pay medical bills for dogs like this. The only difference is my foundation doesn’t keep any money. Every dollar donated goes directly to the dog in need. I am usually the largest donor as well. I do this as way to give back. 🚨URGENT RESCUE UNDERWAY🚨

We are en route to pick up a female Bulldog from a Houston area shelter with a horrific uterine/vaginal prolapse of unknown cause. She will be headed straight to one of our partner clinics for surgery and then we wait for news that she survived and will be ok. ❤️‍🩹

Given that this is an emergency situation and she had until end of day to be tagged and pulled into rescue, our ability to effectively plan in advance was little-to-none… one of those “jump now, ask later” types of situations.

This is a painful condition - I mean… I don’t even want to think about how that must feel 🥴… and there really is no time to wait.
