PRIME Soccer Club and Vegas Legacy FC Merge
Henderson, Nevada – PRIME Soccer Club and Vegas Legacy FC, two of the top competitive youth soccer clubs in Southern Nevada, have joined forces and are now one club.
The new union of the two clubs that each have a strong reputation for player development will allow players and parents to experience the ultimate combination of world class training by top coaches, many of whom have played at the professional and collegiate levels, and a fun enjoyable atmosphere with trainings held at some of the most sought after, centrally located Henderson and Las Vegas fields.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Vegas Legacy FC to the Club,” PRIME SC’s founder and executive director, Mark Seif said. “Over the past couple of years, we have watched Vegas Legacy FC take young recreational and club players and produce some of the region’s top competitive talent by truly focusing on player development in much the same way PRIME SC has done over the past 10 years. It was a natural fit for us.”
“By bringing on Phillip Nantas, Vegas Legacy’s Director of Coaching and his highly talented team of coaches, we are adding a considerable amount of soccer expertise and experience to PRIME SC’s already rich roster of player development focused, maybe even obsessed, coaches,” Seif added.
From its inception 10 years ago, PRIME SC set itself apart from other competitive soccer clubs in Southern Nevada, and later in Central and Northern Nevada, with branches in Elko and Reno, by changing the way success was measured for young soccer players and their coaches.
“When the only focus is on winning games, many young players are deprived of the opportunity to develop to their full potential. We want all of our younger players to get plenty of playing time. Sometimes they are going to make mistakes that might cost us the game, but we’re fine with that in the younger age groups. Meaningful playing time is critical to a young player’s future development. They learn how to deal with stressful situations and they learn from their mistakes, which leads to confidence. Confidence on the ball is a key attribute that all top players possess. The leaders at Vegas Legacy share our vision, that’s why it was a no-brainer to merge our organizations,” Seif stated.
In addition to a highly acclaimed team of coaches, Vegas Legacy FC’s management will add operational expertise to PRIME SC’s rich history of making sure that players and parents have an enjoyable experience in club soccer.
Vegas Legacy’s Director, Jeremy Amar, has a wealth of business and marketing expertise that will now benefit the entire combined organization.
“Our motto at Vegas Legacy is, Creating Champions. We know that in order to create champions, we must foster an environment where each player can reach their full potential. This means that we have to look at each player as an individual and provide them with what they specifically need to get to the next level of their development. As directors, it’s our job to provide the resources and framework for players and coaches to thrive,” stated Amar.
“By joining forces with PRIME SC, a club renowned in this region for young player development, we are enhancing our offerings, resources and ability to help players reach their peaks, whatever that might look like. We know some players will go on to play high school, collegiate or even professional soccer, but some might not and that’s fine. Our goal is to help them reach their goals. It’s that simple,” added Amar.
