Lauren Elizabeth Foundation

Lauren Elizabeth Foundation The Lauren Elizabeth Foundation was created in memory of Lauren Elizabeth to protect and advocate for companion animals in need.

Our family formed the Lauren Elizabeth Foundation after the loss of our daughter's life due to addiction and mental illness in September of 2018. One of the most valuable assets Lauren had during her long journey was her service dog Ivy. Always faithful, never leaving Lauren's side, Ivy provided non-judgmental and continual companionship and emotional support when her family and professionals coul

d not. Lauren was a passionate animal advocate for her entire, yet short life and our mission is to honor her passion. She volunteered endlessly at local shelters in an effort to return the love and support she received from Ivy for the last 8 years of her life. Our mission is to protect and advocate for companion animals in need to build a humane community that promotes compassion and seeks to strengthen the human-animal bond. It is the Lauren Elizabeth Foundation's belief that these loving animals reciprocate to us by creating a supportive bridge to recovery and emotional stability for mentally and physically challenged humans desperately in need. Our efforts support spay, neutering, and immunization programs, as well as rescue and re homing for animals in the rural areas of the state of Nevada.

☀️ Weekend Heat Alert, Nevada! ☀️

Triple-digit temperatures are in the forecast, and while we’re making plans for the weekend, our furry friends are counting on us to keep them safe.

🐾 Bring pets indoors whenever possible.
💧 Keep fresh, cool water available at all times.
🌳 Make sure outdoor animals have plenty of shade.
🚗 Never leave a pet in a parked car—not even for a minute.

🐕 Skip midday walks and check the pavement with the back of your hand. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws.

If you see an animal in distress from the heat, don’t ignore it. A simple act of kindness can save a life.
Let’s help every Nevada pet stay safe, cool, and loved this weekend. ❤️🐾

April 10th is National Farm Animal Day 🐄🐖🐑🐴

A day to recognize the gentle souls who give so much, often without a voice of their own. At The Lauren Elizabeth Foundation, we believe every animal—farm, domestic, or wild—deserves compassion, care, and a chance at a better life.

In rural Nevada, we’re committed to advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves, supporting veterinary care, and standing up for animals in need every single day.

Today, we celebrate them. Tomorrow, we keep showing up. 💙

We’re feeling inspired and grateful after attending a wonderful fundraiser for the Nevada SPCA 💙🐾

At the Lauren Elizabeth Foundation, we believe deeply in the connection between animal welfare and mental health. Events like this remind us just how powerful compassion, community, and advocacy can be—for both people and animals.

The Nevada SPCA team brings an incredible depth of knowledge, dedication, and heart to everything they do. They are a guiding light for all of us trying to make a difference in this world.

Together, we can continue to raise awareness, support mental wellness, and create brighter futures for animals and the humans who love them. 💫

Rescue Shelby of the Lauren Elizabeth Foundation is heading strong into 2026!🐶🐾💙🐈

We’re excited to continue our support of the White Pine Critter Fix program in Ely, Nevada. Access to affordable spay and neuter services is vital in rural communities, and we are proud to help ensure that families and rescue partners in White Pine County have the resources they need.

The Lauren Elizabeth Foundation 💙remains deeply committed to supporting animals in rural areas across the state of Nevada. Together, we can reduce overpopulation, improve animal health, and strengthen the communities that care for them.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this mission possible. Here’s to another year of compassion, collaboration, and lifesaving impact in 2026!
