We have some sad news to share: Nicole Duffel has passed away. Nicole was our Dance Coordinator and 2024 was her last year of producing a wonderful and enjoyable competition for the Silver State Games. Wishing her friends and family peace and good memories in their time of loss. Nicole will be missed by all of us.

We've got answers to questions so many of you have been asking about next year's National Senior Games -- directly from the NSGA today.

1. Registration opens on Thursday, Oct. 22 (except for Pickleball). Go to this web page: https://nsga.com/registration/

2. Pickleball registration opens next year on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2027.
--> Still time to qualify at our Pickleball tourney (Monday-Wednesday, Nov. 16-18 in Henderson). DEADLINE: SUNDAY, NOV. 1!!

3. Qualifying sports: NSGA has a live list of verified sports by state on their registration page. The Silver State Games' 5K and 10K Road Races and Triathlon results are live. Please give NSGA time to post our results from our Fall Games. We're submitting that info within days of each sport's conclusion.

4. Open sports: You can sign up anytime on or after Thursday, Oct. 22.

5. Be sure to double-check the 2027 NSG competition SCHEDULE so you don't inadvertently overlap events (such as Pickleball and Power Walk).

If you have *ANY* questions about next year's National Senior Games, the sports offerings, schedules, and other details, go to their website or contact them directly.
