Thank you for hosting last week’s collaboration brunch, a true sense of spirit in bringing together dedicated minds in our shared efforts to provide ongoing support and resources to those struggling with infertility. It’s incredible to see the forward momentum of fellow organizations coming together to champion the cause.

Last week, our founder had the privilege of attending a healthcare round table with and other community advocates and maternal health providers in Nevada.

On the Agenda: access to pivotal resources for the 1 in 6 struggling with infertility, including Medicaid, doula support, and more.

At Nevada Fertility Advocates, we recognize the concerted effort announced last week by the Trump Administration in expanding access to fertility care by reducing barriers for patients; most specifically, the initiative to partner with pharmaceutical companies to lower the cost of fertility medications and to encourage employers to include fertility treatment as part of their standard health benefits.

We firmly believe that reproductive health is healthcare. Fertility coverage should be treated as an essential part of comprehensive medical care—not as an optional benefit separate from standard health coverage like dental or vision plans. We urge employers and lawmakers to take a whole-person approach in shaping healthcare policy—one that recognizes the profound financial, emotional, and social importance of fertility treatment and ensures that all individuals have equitable access to this care.

- yesterday we received word that Governor Lombardo vetoed , the Nevada Building Families Act. A truly devastating blow to the forward momentum and support this bill has come to see across our wider state and communities.
