Domestic violence goes unreported.

Victims of domestic violence are abused up to 7x before reaching out for help.

For many reasons victims feel shame or guilt and keep their silence. Because of emotional and mental abuse victims may not feel worthy of being helped or can’t envision a better situation for themselves.

It is important to remind each other that we ALL matter. We ALL have a voice and deserve to be heard and loved.

Children who witness abuse in their home are more likely to have toxic and abusive relationships as adults.

This behavior is due to the misunderstanding of what a healthy or “normal” relationship is.

We can break the cycle of domestic violence by educating our community and bringing awareness to the issues behind domestic violence.

Organizations like have dedicated outreach programs to prevent our future generations from repeating this vicious cycle.

Together we can break the cycle of domestic abuse.
