I have the greatest update on our baby boy Horizon. The one that had the mangled ear and the degloved chin. He has been adopted!

His sister is one of our CCA alumni. And if you remember, her name was Katana, and she was brought to us with four legs bent inwards. She basically walked on her elbows. Even then she was the fastest kitten I had ever seen.

With a little bit of therapy and love and TLC, through the years, she has pretty much recovered. You can't tell by looking at her that she has any issues. She just walks a little wobbly.

But her and Horizon have hit it off from day one, and they are living the best lives.

Thanks to our angel donors, these are two babies that just needed a chance. They had the fight in them, and they fought the battle that was needed. They needed somebody to back them up, and you and we were there for them, and for that reason, they are going to live the best life ever. Thank you Angels for always showing up when you are needed most💖

If you remember Leia was dropped off at or vet sick and emaciated several weeks ago. Instead of having AC pick her up the next day our vet called us to see if we would take her on. Knowing she would of ended up on the dreaded list we happily took her on instead. Here she is today receiving belly rubs from her foster. It will not be long before she is ready for adoptions. We are so very proud to have been able to save her from days of uncertainty and bring her into the loving arms of Angels. This is all made possible thanks to our Angel donors. I know times are very hard and lack of money is a stresser on everyone at this time. For those of you that still participate anyway, I hope you can take a lot of pride in moments like these. These babies wouldn't be given their second chance with out you xoxoxo. Go Team Cats!!!!

Sox obviously was recently fixed through TNR. I am sure at that time his caretaker would of been told that there was a recommendation for this 4 month old baby boy to be taken to a full service vet for healthcare. Undoubtedly, the caretaker did not have funds for this, vet care is expensive. This baby is severely underweight and has an upper respiratory infection. So upon arriving to the vet the care taker opted for humane euthanasia. They just didn't want the baby to suffer anymore. I agree we never want any babies to suffer. The sad truth is because not everyone gets involved in TNR many, many babies suffer and will continue to do so. This will not be solved by thinking I'll just call someone. Everyone needs to be willing to step up and TNR the cats they feed. No excuses. I just took the long route to tell you the point of this post. Our vet called us and asked us if we could take him. Of course we did. This is Sox our new Angel. One of the lucky ones. I picked him up on the way home from work. Stay tuned for updates. Also, start practicing TNR so we can prevent further suffering 💖

Update and a huge announcement follows💖🥳 If you remember Pacquiao was supposed to be euthanized at 5 weeks old. We pulled him and rushed him to the vet immediately. When we arrived at the vet and I opened his box I thought he had already died. He was sprawled out and not responding to touch. My heart fell into my toes, I was crushed. Then his opened his eyes, he was just so weak and tired I guess. Day by day with him was emotional because he was just so tiny, so sick and had already endured so much. How much can a little body of this size take anyway? Well apparently he lived up to his big fighter name because those days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. He now is off to find a family of his own as I sit in my car crying typing this. Rescue is so emotional, but I believe this boy has an amazing life ahead of him and this is why I put my emotions through this torture. There will be others in the near future that need me just as much as Pacquiao did. I will show up and keep the Faith because little miracles happen everyday you just need to give them a chance. Everyone show our little man love in the comments. He can be adopted at Foreclosed Upon Pets and viewed at the Petsmart on Rainbow and Lakemead.
