Yesterday was our last pool playdate of the summer!

Thank you so much to the 5 amazing families who joined us and helped us make the most of our final pool day! 💕

But we’re not done just yet! Next week is our last splash pad playdate before the county closes the parks for the season.

Hope to see everyone there for one last splash and some fun before summer officially comes to an end! 🥹☀️💦

The newest book for military kids is out, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Written by one of our amazing volunteers, Sarah West, this story was created especially for military children to remind them that they are never alone, they are seen, and they have a community that supports them every step of the way.

I’ll be honest. This book made me cry. It’s a beautiful, heartfelt story that every military family should have on their bookshelf.

Even more special, the illustrations were created by a military kid, making this book truly authentic from beginning to end.

We had the opportunity this morning to talk about Deployed Love at the Deployer’s Briefing/Family Day! 💜

We shared what we do and reminded families of soon-to-be-deployed service members that you are not alone, we’re here for you!! It was so great connecting with deployers and families from different squadrons and letting them know they have a community they can lean on throughout deployment. 🫶🏼🇺🇸

When emotions run high, take a step back, breathe, and choose connection over conflict. Your spouse is navigating the same challenges in a different way. Give each other grace, communicate with intention, and lean into support when you need it.
