Vote 🗳Nicole Wolf Renown / Medical NNRH for E~BOARD

“A positive mindset brings positive things” - Philipp Reiter

My name is Nicole Wolf. I’ve been an RN with Renown Hospital for almost 7 years and part of SEIU for most of that time.

My parents raised me with a hard working ethic and belief that if you don’t like the way things are, then you should do something to change it.

Two years ago, I wanted to help make changes at Renown so I decided to get more involved and become a leader in our Union. I got connected with Union representatives, joined the bargaining team, started the process of becoming a steward, and started helping to create an organizing team for Renown.

As a Board Member I would like to continue helping to make change; to fight for what is right and continue being a champion for our members.

Hello. My name is Joe Campbell, and I’ve been a proud SEIU Local 1107 member for twenty-five years. I have been active in various capacities on the “representation side” of our Union for 20 years.

As General Unit Chief Steward in 2009, I filed a grievance on behalf of our membership maintaining that Clark County failed to follow our contract during the first wave of layoffs. Eventually, this case worked its way through the EMRB, and approximately 18 months after the layoff, Clark County was ordered to reinstate 29 employees with full back pay.

I will continue to fight fiercely and tirelessly to make sure our collective bargaining agreement is respected by Clark County, should I be elected as your representative on Local 1107’s Executive Board. It’s always a privilege to serve our membership and something I will always do full throttle.

Re~Elect 🗳Debbie Springer VICE PRESIDENT PUBLIC SECTOR!

“Success is a project that's always under construction.” - Pat Summitt

Greetings,

I am Debbie Springer and I am currently your Public Sector Vice President. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you, the membership in that capacity. I am running for another term as your Public Sector Vice President, and I am humbly asking for your vote again.

I work at the District Attorney’s office in the Family Support Division. I started at the County in 2005, and that is when my membership in SEIU Local 1107 started. I have served this Union in many capacities with one thing in mind: what would be best for the membership.

I am currently one of the Co-Chairs of the Political Organizing Committee. This is a role I take very seriously because everything we strive for begins with electing and holding our elected representatives accountable for their actions.

Thank you again for having faith and trusting in me when you elected me to this position. I am again humbly asking for your vote again to continue the mission of helping you, the members.

Re~Elect🗳Zavia Norman for VICE PRESIDENT PRIVATE SECTOR!

“People die from laziness every day, but hard work never killed a soul” - Grandma Bertha

Zavia Norman is a Respiratory Therapist for over 20 years. She is currently seeking re-election. She works at Sunrise Hospital alongside with some of the most amazing front line workers.

Zavia’s ultimate goals are to help create the best union for all the members by growing our union valley wide by creating close working relationships with community leaders that create laws to make our lives better.

The most relevant achievements are being a proud serving member of our local union SEIU Local 1107 as your Executive Vice President of the Private Sector, and still finding time to volunteer as a Girl Scout Troop Leader for middle school girls.

She is currently enrolled in school because education never stops.

Vote 🗳 Yarleny Roa~Dugan for SECRETARY ~ TREASURER

“We realize the importance of our voices only when we are silenced.” - Malala Yousafzai

My name is Yarleny, and I am a registered nurse at UMC and an SEIU member for the last eight years. I have been an active member and leader in the union, serving as a Steward at Southern Hills Hospital and UMC.

As an Executive Board Member, I have been a champion for the workers, participating in actions and supporting members across the union and sectors. I serve in several committees within the Local, and I am a proud spokesperson for front-line workers, women, immigrants, and the LatinX community. I am a Board member of Governor's Steve Sisolak's Patient Protection Commission as a Patient Advocate.

In the few years as a Union member, I have shown that I am committed to fighting for our members, economic, social, and racial justice. Today, I am asking you to vote for me as your new Secretary/Treasurer to continue fighting for you and all the members!

Vote 🗳: Michelle Maese for PRESIDENT

“The power is in the membership.”

I have been employed with Clark County Department of Family Services since 2007. I began my journey and commitment to SEIU 1107 membership as a steward in 2009, and proudly bargained five Clark County Contracts and three fiscal reopeners. I have lobbied in Carson City, which resulted in new laws being passed in 2018 and 2020, thereby giving our members protection and a seat at the table.

Together, with my union brothers and sisters, we advocated for safe work environments for our membership during this pandemic and will continue to do so. As Chief Steward for all 39 Supervisory Units within various Clark County Departments, I have won numerous grievances and arbitrations by being well-versed in NRS 288 and Labor Laws. In 2018, I was appointed Chair of the Political Organizing Committee; and, in 2020, I was appointed as Secretary – Treasurer for our local membership. At this time, I currently hold all three positions.

Because of my experience, dedication, and passion for Labor, I humbly ask for your vote for President of SEIU local 1107 to continue serving our membership. As your President, I will be committed to working together to build a stronger union. I have heard the voices of our members and am dedicated to protecting our union rights, negotiating our contracts, ensuring effective communication, and expanding our community relationships.

We are members together! I appreciate your vote.
