Dear Community ❤️,
I am writing to you today with the news that our upcoming vegan grocery box distribution on January 24 will be our last one, after 5 wonderful years. We held our first vegan grocery box distribution in January 2021, giving out just 18 boxes on that day! With your support, we quickly scaled up to 100-200 boxes given out at each distribution. As of today, we have given out over 7,500 vegan grocery boxes to our community!

We have been holding distributions at least once per month for the past 5 years, and it has been such a rewarding experience filling this gap in food assistance with 100% vegan, nutritious grocery boxes.

Many of our core volunteers who have helped run the pantry over the years have been branching out to new projects, including activism and volunteering at other organizations throughout town. Many of us are moving on to new opportunities. Most of our volunteers will continue to serve our community in other ways, so we are thinking of this as a redirection. This is not an end to our service but a transformation of our service 🤝

We want to thank you with our whole hearts for all the support you have given over the years to feed families in need. Whether you have been a donor, a volunteer, or just an enthusiastic supporter, the past 5 years of feeding our community with free vegan grocery boxes would not have been possible without your dedication. We are SO proud to be a part of this community. ❤️
