On August 4, 2020, a powerful explosion struck Beirut and left extensive damage in its wake and Thousands of people are injured so far and several people have lost their lives. This happened during an extremely difficult time in Lebanon's history when the people are battling Coronavirus and a severe economic collapse. Beirut filled with rubble and great sorrow.

Lebanon is in utter shock and in dire need of immediate help on the ground. Healthcare facilities are very badly damaged and are overwhelmed with thousands of casualties from the horrific explosion. The explosion that took caused a huge shortage of medical supplies at the hospitals and there are not enough beds or money to fully help the injured citizens.
