We urgently need your help to us support the kitties we have undergoing FIP treatment. FIP, Feline Infectious Peritonitis, is an unavoidable, historically fatal disease that affects an estimated 15,000 cats every year. There are no preventative vaccines, and there has only recently been a cure. Unfortunately, the 84 day treatment consisting of medication and supportive care can be very costly. With your help, we can provide the necessary care for these cats that undergo this immune-suppressing and challenging disease.
Gleason is our very sweet and special boy who was born and raised in foster care to his mother, Cheyenne. Shortly after getting neutered, he started showing signs of FIP. Within a week, he had lost almost half a pound, was dehydrated and overall seemed like something was wrong. We did bloodwork and his albumin was so low, it wasn’t detected. We started him on the medication and he has gained 2.3 pounds since! He has a little over four weeks left of treatment.
Oliver was originally prescribed steroids and antibiotics for his neurological symptoms. After further analyzing his condition and bloodwork, we started him on FIP treatment and he is already improving. At first, he wasn’t able to control his urine/bowels, but now he is using the litter box regularly, his neurological symptoms are improving, and he is doing much better than when he started treatment 9/26/26. He has 79 days left.
Blaire has neurological FIP. She has lost function in her bowels and urination (we’re hoping it’s temporary). Blaire started treatment 9/17/26; she has 10 weeks remaining.
Beans is a sweet girl who has a lot of recovering to do. She is struggling to eat, is losing weight, and isn’t as energetic as she was. We’re still not sure if it’s FIP, but we haven’t officially ruled it out. She is on treatment as a precaution as we do more testing and figure out what’s wrong.
