Giving Tuesday
NO LITTLE HOMIE LEFT BEHIND
Greetings from The Chef Jeff Project (please share)
I’ve never been one to ask for financial assistance. For years, my family and I have simply done the work from the heart and out of our own pockets, standing alongside the most vulnerable youth in Las Vegas and across the country.
We’ve covered the food cost, uniforms, so the children can look professional in the eyes of employees, provided Uber rides to get kids home safely after late night culinary mentoring sessions, and poured ourselves into every young person who needed guidance, consistency, and love as we can.
But with the rising cost of food, rent, supplies, and maintaining our mobile classroom, it’s becoming harder to keep showing up in the same way, driving into juvenile facilities, behavioral schools to plant seeds of possibilities.
After five years carrying this mission as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on our backs, after waking up this morning realizing it’s time to ask the hard question, Can you help support this mission with this specific population of young people we serve from all wards.
On this Giving Tuesday and beyond, if you’re in a position to invest in this work, I humbly ask for your support. And if you’re not able, we completely understand, your prayers, your encouragement, and even sharing this message with your network can still create a powerful ripple of impact.
For more than twenty years, many of you have seen my commitment firsthand for FREE in the Ckark County School District, Juvenile Justice court system, Spring Mountain Youth Camp, and Summit View. Know my heart. You know my integrity in this space. And you know that when I say “no homie left behind, I stand by it with everything in me.
100% of every donation goes directly to keeping our mobile classroom on the road, where we use culinary arts as a therapeutic tool to guide our youth away from the criminal justice system and toward a future filled with purpose, opportunity, and hope.
With gratitude and love,
Chef Jeff
